These ducks are sooo good!! I was very nervous about ordering 6 whole ducks online sight unseen but another positive review encouraged me. (We can't get them locally anymore)They arrived still fully frozen in a HUGE box. We thawed 2 for our Christmas Eve dinner (5 of us). We are not master carvers :-) but carved both ducks & pulled of the remaining tidbits.There was enough meat for dinner plus a few sandwiches later. It was delicious & tender.I rendered the fat for later use and prepped the organ meats for the cats who loved them. But sadly the necks went to waste.We still have 4 more so 2 more roast duck dinners to look forward to!

Love the maple leaf farm ducks, and the pricing. I order bulk, 2-3 xs a year for the past 2.5 yrs. Just got my order today. Still frozen solid two days in shipping, and all the dry ice had not yet melted. Only had an issue once, during hot weather, and was Resolved immediately thru Amazon CS and vendor. Will continue using them!! Well worth it.

I was a little nervous about ordering these ducks. I usually use another company but the price was too good to ignore. I received the ducks yesterday and decided to defrost one for dinner today. I usually eat duck for Christmas and brine them. I did however decide to cook this one in a way where I could get the full flavor without adding too much seasoning. I cut it up, browned it and cooked it on the stove with a little broth, heavy cream and lingon berry jam. It came out so tender and juice. Really nice duck flavor. Not too gamy and strong. I will cook duck for Christmas with all my usual trimmings but I don't think I will brine it this year. I highly recommend these ducks. Definitely count on one duck for two people as they are a little on the small size. Mine weighed in at a little over 4 lbs pr duck. I would have added a picture but forgot to take one because I was too eager to try it as it has been 2 years since I had duck last. I didn't eat at home last year :) Bon appetit!
