Enkay Set of Six 1 oz Polishing Compound Bars Jeweler's Rouge for All Metals, Glass, Plastic

This set offers a good assortment of abrasives. It give you a chance to try several and know which works best for your specific purpose, without breaking the bank. I bought these for stropping knives. The compounds applied easily and seem to be doing the job they were intended to do.

I only have used the green bar. I used it on a high end stainless watch. Using a wool buffer pad on a standard hobby drill. I spun the wheel on the top of the bar and then posished the watch case and parts. It worked very well. I use rubbing alcohol on a cotton cloth to remove the waxy polish when I was done.

I used these mostly for turned wood resin hybrids. The small size of each bar makes them easy to store which for me is a must! Dont let the size fool you though I got a lot of polishes out of these. At least 100 uses. The fact that it comes with so many grit levels helps you to gradually achieve the shine you need. See the pics.

I bought these for polishing the edge of my knife after using the Lansky Deluxe system. I have only used the green compound so far but I couldnt be happier with it. Brings my knives to a mirror finish in no time. Great price for the multiple compounds, they are just a little on the small side.

So much to learn...had to research how to use and applications for different color bars... nothing on the packaging for the DIYer.

This rouge is as exactly as advertised. It came a few days early and was much appreciated. I tried them for stropping stainless steel knives and all have worked as I expected them to. They produced a brightly polished mirror edge that was very toothy as I like on all my knives. Just wanted some extra rouge and these will work very nicely. I would recommend them to anyone needing some small bars of different rouge.

Arrived dry as a bone. Soaked in water for a while and then left in a container covered in a damp rag and they ended up working, but still kind of a pain. When I need more I'll buy locally so I don't have to go through it.

i used this on my knives and they are ok but i think im polishing my knives wrong... if only the came with instructions on which color to use first.. i want to make my knife mirror shiny with ought making it dull.. i will give a better if im informed about what color to use first and how long.

Received these polishing blocks today, just a few days after ordering, and they appear to be exactly what I need! They're for polishing composite knife scales, and although I haven't used them yet, after much research, they look like exactly what I needed! There are 6 different colors that weigh 1 oz. each!
