Buying a journal is a big deal for me. There’s a million out there. This is the ONE! I love the Cagie journal. She is beautiful! 320 pages, perfectly bound with a 180 flat laying design for the perfect comfort. And you can get her lined, dotted, etc. The paper has a good weight as well and will hold up. It’s not a glaring white either. It’s just right, soft on the eyes. And she offers an awesome index!! I’m not looking back. I’m a lifer here! Thank you so much Cagie for this amazing product! This is the best and you can’t beat the price! Absolutely wonderful product! Get one! You’ll never regret it.

Great little journal! The cover is smoother than polished glass. It has a very good solid feel of quality in the hand. When writing with an Extra Fine Point fountain pen, the ink does not bleed through the pages. It lays flat on the table making it easier to write in. With a table of contents to fill in at the front, a pocket at the back and a band that comfortably fits my pen, I'm very happy with this product! Buying another right away too!

These are perfect for journaling! The paper, the book itself, and the strap/plus the pen holder all feel very nice and durable. I love the elastic closure. It’s small enough to carry but large enough to write notes in. Great deal for these! I love that it has a table of contents you can log and th pages have a date place as well as page number.

I am very pleased with this notebook/journal! I have been searching for an affordable notebook that works well with fountain pens, and I found it! I didn't want to invest in a pricey, high-quality journal, because I know i would feel compelled to save it for "something special", and it would likely sit on a shelf unused forver, while i perpetually deemed every idea unworthy of it, which would completely defeat the purpose of buying it in the fist place! But at the same time, if it wasnt nice enough, I probably would again never want to use it! I have a collection of fountain pens, so I needed something that would work well with the as well. I really like everything about this notebook. The cover has a really nice look and feel to it, and it seems quit sturdy and well made. The paper is surprisingly good quality as well. I tested it with several different pens and inks. Even with my wettest inks and pens, there was no bleeding or weathering, it stayed nice and crisp. There was some ghosting with the wettest pen, but not terrible, and even then it was only with a really sloppy-wet pen. I will definitely purchase again!

This is my favorite journaling notebook. I have ordered it several times before and it never disappoints! Nice thick pages and smooth paper to write on. I use it for taking Bible class and sermon notes.

The journal is a good size and has a nice thickness. The pages are also thick and pleasant to write on. I use fountain pens, so I would be cautious with wetter and juicier nibs as they tend to cause feathering. Finer and drier nibs seem to work better, resulting in minimal ghosting. The cover is nice, and mine didn’t have any quality control issues.

I tried to upload a video, but the app was in a bad mood. At any rate, the journal is thinner in appearance than the first product image shows (which, if you've bought journals on here before, you'll know is almost always the case), but has the correct number of pages. The cover wouldn't fool anyone for real leather, but still has a nice appearance and feel. The binding seems good, and it EASILY lays completely flat, even in the middle of the book. I did an ink test on the first page. Sharpies and calligraphy ink showed through the other side of the page, but didn't bleed through to the next page. Pilot G-2, PaperMate Flair, Micron, and Precise V5 pens all were barely visible on the other side. I'll definitely be writing on both sides of the page.
