This has been a great rod. I have the 2.1m length and paired it with the Kast King Royale Legend w/ 14lb mono. Strong and reliable thus far. I've been stuck on some very larger limbs and other debri, and using 14 lb test line, I've either broken hooks, or pulled out small trees. If it was poorly made, I'd have broken it by now. I've pulled in 3+lb bass and 5+lb fighting cats with no worries. The guides have been good as well. No issues. Sure, there are better rods out there, but for the portability and the money, this rod very much worth it.

It was great to use in my kayak. I caught several bass with it and a 31 inch catfish. No problem except for the last bass I caught with it which was 4 1/2 pounds. While taking a picture of the fish, I was not paying attention and my rod with its baitcaster reel fell overboard without me noticing. I lost one good rod which I had used to catch some nice fish. I liked the fact that the rod would retract without a section getting stuck in an extended position. He rod was well worth the money.

Very displeased with this product. The top tip snapped almost immediately after catching a pompano at the beach...hopefully this rofld isnt actually like that and its just deffective. hoping to be able to return to seller for a new one since I only got to use it just once and I really need a telescopic rod, since its convinient for travel. I had the 2.1 meter rod.Update: fixed the tip myself, gonna give it another shot.

Rod came with scratches.Could not open sections of rod with my bare hand without applying a huge force.The first section is still stuck in the rod and I will probably have to use plyers to get it free (with a risk of scratching the section or bending the guide).I do not recommend.

I love fishing! So far this is the best travel rod I have ever had. It's so convenient, I can even put it in my backpack. This pole is pretty cool, the quality is up to industry standards. This is my first telescopic rod, but I definitely will buy more in the future.

Very well build rod!! I’ve bought a few telescopic rod before but this one is the best looking one so far! Even my wife (who doesn’t fish at all😅) likes it. And it’s very light weight too! Can’t wait to take it out on my next fishing adventure!

One was a gift from my son, that broke trying to pick up a bass under 3 lbs., I ordered another and broke that one too, the rod is delicate and should not be used to lift fish out of the water from my experience, use a net. Both rods broke at different places, the first at the last extension and the second about the third extension, I e-mailed the company but have not received a reply, and I am not holding my breath.

Great rod! Was surprised by the high quality at this price point. We've tried it at quarry lake and have got some trout. Would definitely buy it again.
