Pantech Breeze 4 (AT&T)

Replaced an old flip phone with this newer model. I didn't want to pay for a smart phone service and this phone doesn't require the extra charge with AT&T. I am hard of hearing and wear hearing aids. I needed a phone I could hear, which is often a problem on these flip phones. It took a few different ringtones before I got the "boogie" ring that I can hear fine. The only complaint I have with this phone is the screen is impossible to see in direct sunlight. Otherwise, it works great for my calling needs.

Buyer beware if buying from energy electronics. received with a busted battery and received chemical Burns as a result! Ended with a trip to urgent care after handling the box contents

The other Breeze IV’s that I have purchased in the past were refurbs, and they used an internet connection and for some reason I cannot get this to connect the network like the other ones. It has factory set software for wap 2, and that’s why I have been racking my head trying to set the default gateway, IP address, and has been nothing short of a pain in my ***.

Ordered for my Mom who needed a basic no frill phone. She loves the larger dial. She doesn't text or anything and only uses it in emergencies while out driving. Did not have to do anything for her but initial set up because it operated pretty much like her previous flip phone that had stopped working. So far so good. Great price for what she got.

DO NOT PURCHSE IF YOU INTEND TO ACTIVATE IT..Purchased for an elderly family member, tried to activate, This is a Gen 3 phone, ATT is phasing out all Gen 3 service, buy this and you will have a paperweight, or add to your collection of dead yester-tech.

I purchased this flip phone about 3 years ago for its two working modes: Simple and more complete. I keep on simplicity because it fill my needs. I like to add it is rugged with a convenient size with large numerals. I do not know it there are still available now - 2017 - but I cannot see needing a replacement, it is built like and army jeep!

Tried to write a review but censors would not allow it. Like I previously said, it's seems to be a good little phone however there is no customer service available. Company has gone out of business? Had I known this, I would have purchased a different brand.

I had a Pantech for years, finally dropped and broke it, moved through two used smart phones, and am back with the Pantech. I don't need or want the features or expense of a smart phone. This phone is simple, small enough to fit in a pocket or purse, and has the features I want - talk, text and camera. I hope it lasts a long time.
