Pulp Fiction: A Quentin Tarantino Screenplay

Screenwriting 101
Any Quentin Tarantino movie is a film school and this book is a perfect class on screenwriting. Winner for Best Screenplay in 1994, the year FORREST GUMP somehow beat this and THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION for Best Picture, this is an entertaining read, and it’s three stories for the price of one (I found a $6 copy) featuring some original ideas not found in the movie.Set photographs and movie stills throughout the text makes it even more immersive. The best Tarantino script (ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD would be my second favorite, but possibly my favorite Tarantino flick). Buy it. Learn from it. And then write your own screenplay.

A Screenplay To Study When Writing Your Own
I remember watching 'Pulp Fiction', and the moment the film was over, my first thought was, "WHAT DID I JUST WATCH?" My mind was blown before mind blowing was a thing. It was an incredible film, that not only completely changed the game, but changed the independent film industry (for the better) forever. If you're trying to write your own screenplay, you have to learn from some of the best. This Pulp Fiction screenplay is nearly required reading for those that want to study and learn what made it so great, and in turn, possibly create your own game-changing screenplay. No, this won't write your screenplay for you, but you can read it and see standardized screenplay language, and analyze how it's plotted. From there, you're on your own with your imagination. Reading this, you can see why it sold, got made into a movie, and won an Academy Award for Best Screenplay for Quentin Tarantino. To be great, you have to study greatness. This is a great screenplay to learn from. Recommended.

I'm a fan of the movie, that's why I ordered it
I'm a fan of the movie, I haven't see all of Tarantino's work but I really, really liked Kill Bill, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs and Inglorious Basterds. Some months ago I stumbled upon the screenplay for I.B. so now that I also found this script I didn't think twice and ordered it, used since I couldn't find any one brand new.I think this book is for the fans of Tarantino and his movies. The format of the book is exactly as a script, is printed with a typeface that resembles the font that typewriters used to have, and has all the annotations for the actors or camera movement to play the movie. Don't get me wrong, it's not a technical book, it's just the script with all the long dialogues we all love from this movie.I would recommend it if you enjoyed the movie, nice book to display and it almost reads as a novel, I really really liked it.Someone around there said that there is a different eddition for this book with the dialogue along with photographs and other external annotations. At least this edition is only the script, to pictures at all, but that's exactly what I wanted in the first place.

Very good quality, exactly "like a new" one!
Good quality, really like-a-new one!Just only one minor issue. 1/3 of the book is printed on more "whitish" paper, but the same quality as other pages. And it's not conditioned by the content inside. I suppose they changed the paper when printing.Anyway, I'm very much satisfied! 😊Thank you very much!

Classic
the wonderful thing about reading the screenplay for such a famous movie is to see how things/personalities/etc. got adapted. you can let your own imagination play and still compare it to what is produced by another artist... i love the film, i love the screen play. it's one of the greatest stories told about survival in a world full with coincidences and power relations that are far from linear... brilliant =)

Love Tarantino's Dialogue?
Read it on the printed page! This screenplay really gives you a more complete, in-depth look at the film AND Tarantino's writing style, which is as frenzied as you'd imagine. Definitely recommend reading screenplays of your favorite filmmakers to become a better writer, and this is a great one to start with!

It's the Little Differences
It's the little differences.I'm a huge fan of Pulp Fiction, can almost quote it by heart. So I was surprised when I got this and saw that there is quite a bit of alternate and added dialogue in this script. Very interesting to read if you are an obsessive fan, probably things you would not even notice if you aren't.

A Must & A Must-Not For The Aspiring Screenwriter
A must for the aspiring screenwriter. This shows how dialog is used at its finest and how exactly a non-linear story comes together on paper. This is also a must-NOT for the aspiring screenwriter since it will cause them to probably love it so much, that they try to write like Tarantino, which is a no-no. No one can write like Tarantino.
