Breeze to install, it's SUPER LOUD. Let me tell you, when I mention it's LOUD, it's REALLY LOUD. I wear custom ear protection with as high of a rating you can buy, plus my helmet and cruising at 60mph wrecks my ears. Two problems, one is entirely subjective and the other is objective.If you're getting this for a parallel twin or some other smaller CC engine, it ain't gonna sound good. At least with my '18 Ninja 400. It sounds sexy at idle but as soon as the gas is on it's just utter nastiness. Maybe other bikes with different cylinder placement would be better but I'm warning you that it might not sound great. Honestly, I prefer the ugly stock muffler for sound AND function which brings me to the second problem.On my '18 Kawi 400 this puts a lot of stress on the exhaust manifold at the engine head. One could most certainly fabricate a custom bracket for rigidity and support but since I didn't care too much about the sound anyway I wasn't going down that rabbit hole. To me, no support for the exhaust system is an absolute no-go especially for something I still owe money on and had it with only 2 miles on the odo. I'm definitely not comfortable with my exhaust pipe bouncing around and vibrating like mad, because on this bike it definitely will.For the price, not bad especially if you like it very very very loud but for my specific installation there's not enough support for it in my opinion which negates any positive.

Sounds the same as without a muffler, baffle does nothing, no support hanger. Yes it's loud, but with any other exhaust the sound is drowned out completely riding with my friends who have an sv650 and thruxton 900. I suppose it's cleaner than having no muffler, but I don't feel good about all of the weight of the cat and pipes resting on the headers with no support at the muffler

There is no change in pitch when installing this product. Comes with a DB killer but whether you remove it or leave it sounds the same. It literally sounds like a cut catalytic converter. You can get the same sound from just removing the stock muffler. Waste of money!

If you put this on a sport bike , it will cause your bike to overheat.

Was almost certain that the Ninja 400 and Z400 share the same pipe size and I was right! Install was exactly the same!Its sooooo Loud Hahaha! It's a Night and Day difference between the stock and the Shorty GP! Keep in mind tho that It doesn't hang on to anything so I recommend getting a Exhaust Hanger Clamp and screw it to one of the bolts so it doesn't sag so much! But def worth the price for a mod on a cheaper low cc bike! :)
