Ordering any kind of makeup online is always kind of luck of the draw & can be very hitzor-miss. I can't tell you how many YEARS of tubes of truly expensive lipstick, lip plumpers, & lipgloss I currently have lying in drawers. Most of them are rejects due to the colors not being anything close to what was shown &/or described online. Others are rejects due to texture, scent, taste, dryness, consistency, staying power, or a myriad of other things I disliked. Around the Thanksgiving/Christmas holiday season, I decided to look for a nice red lipstick to match some of my red holiday outfits. Red is a color I very rarely, if ever, wear because they are usually either too dark, too bright, too blue/purple, turn orange on me, don't go with my hair & skin color or... 'bleed' into the small lines around my mouth which is, frankly, at my age (75) all too common. So when I ran across the Wet n Wild Silk Finish Lipstick line & saw all the various colors AND at an amazingly low prices... I was overwhelmed! How could anyone possibly choose a *single* color? But then at those low prices (just over $1.25/tube), why should anyone decide to choose ONLY one!? I ended up choosing 6-7 different colors & my total bill was under $10!! WHAT!!...UNDER $10!??! NO WAY!!! That's a fraction of what I've paid for a single tube in the past, AND, the absolute BEST part? These WnW Silk Finish lipsticks are all phenomenal... wonderful creamy texture, it applies smoothly, it doesn't cake up & dry out on your lips, & doesn't dry my lips out once removed! The colors are beautiful (Cherry Frost, Pink Ice, & Fuschia On Past are my 3 favs!), stay true once applied, & have great staying power. I did reapply it after meals but... so what! While traveling out of town for the holidays, I forgot to pack my lipliner, which is almost always a requirement whenever I wear any red or darker lip colors. *Gasp... Disaster!!! But I found even the garnet red color stayed put on my mouth without immediately spreading into tiny mouth lines & looking all feathery! I can't begin to describe what a miracle that was! Yes, I highly recommend this brand of lipstick... great quality especially for these low prices!! BTW One Note>>> these lipsticks are not totally non-transferable but I've seen much worse! If leaving a faint lip print on a glass is a BFD to you, then this lipstick probably isn't going to work for you... but for quite a bit more money I'm sure you can find one that does.

I can not say enough good things about the Wet n Wild Silk Finish Lipstick. Do you really want to pay exorbitant prices for a tube of lipstick in a fancy tube? Prices anywhere from $10 to $40 per tube ? Why do that when you can get a great lipstick from Wet n Wild ? Seriously gals, I have been using Wet n Wild for years. I have tried the “ expensive “ brands, and honestly they are just not worth it. The silk finish provides a wonderful moisture to my lips . It goes on very smoothly. It does not run. The color stays on. It doesn’t dry out on your lips . It is not sticky . You have your choice of so many amazing colors. And , rather than paying premium pricing for one tube of lipstick from high end sellers , you can purchase a tube in several different shades to go with different outfits. I have my favorite shade, but I keep several shades on hand. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been asked what type of lipstick I’m wearing and how many people were surprised that I wasn’t wearing a high end brand .

I purchased this lipstick, and considering how affordable it is, I think it does its job very well. I bought two shades, and both have beautiful colors that apply nicely. The lipstick stays on reasonably well, though it doesn’t last as long as higher-end products — which is understandable given the price. The packaging is attractive, and the texture is smooth without being sticky. One thing to keep in mind is to store it in a cool place, as it can melt in heat. Overall, for the price, it’s a good product that delivers what it promises, and I’m satisfied with it.

I chose this shade for a toned-down, cool, moody, and subtle lip to harmonize with my blue eye look for prom, and I was satisfied. I lined with brown and blended "A Short Affair" to add depth and make it less pink for my prom look. While it looks more gray/brown on Amazon, it is really a cool-toned pink/mauve. It’s a natural, thin, and extremely creamy formula, with almost the texture of chapstick. It’s as easy to apply as chapstick as well, but requires frequent re-touches since it’s not matte. It adds a lot of shine, especially with more layers. A Short Affair is significantly less pigmented than the Dark Wine shade I bought with it. I recommend this if you like the color, effect, and want something cheap. I’m looking to buy some of Wet n Wild’s frosty lip shades next to see how they compare.

Really nice lipsticks, good array of colors, can't beat the price. Ordered three. For me, the pink ice is a bit too light, and Secret Muse is a bit too dark, while dark pink frost is the sweet spot...plus it's frosted...which I prefer. My fave lipstick is similar in shade, but it's at the bottom of the tube, the dark pink frost is my new go-to. It feels good once applied, hydrating and buildable for more intense color. Heck, choosing which color is the hardest part, but at this price, go ahead and get several.

I purchased 4 different colors. I have an olive skin tone and don't tend to like pink or red shades. I purchased more Muave toned colors but did pick up a pink this time too. They all went on pretty easy and made my lips feel smooth. No sticky feeling at all. They do rub off a bit when eating or drinking, but not too bad. - In The Near Fuchsia: Darker shade of pink. I think it looks ok with my skin tone. This shade is my husband's favorite. - Dark Wine: Dark burgundy color. I think it compliments my skin tone. - Secret Muse: I think I like this one the most. It's more of a muave color that I typically buy. - Java: Pretty, light, brown color. I like it.

This lipstick is a wonderful reminder that you do not need to spend a lot to get a great quality product. The shade Cheery Frost is absolutely beautiful. It has a rich deep tone that adds a bold pop of color while still looking elegant and wearable for everyday makeup. The formula glides on very smoothly and feels lightweight on the lips. Instead of feeling dry like some lipsticks, this one feels comfortable and hydrating. The ingredients like vitamins A and E along with macadamia oil really help keep lips feeling soft while wearing it. The satin finish also gives it a nice polished look without being overly shiny. I also appreciate that the color is buildable. One swipe gives a softer look, while layering it creates a deeper more dramatic finish. It pairs nicely with lip liner or gloss if you want to add more dimension. One of my favorite things about this lipstick is that it is cruelty free and vegan. It is great to know that a brand can offer a beautiful product while still being mindful of animals. Combined with the affordable price, it makes this lipstick an easy addition to any makeup collection. Overall this is a gorgeous shade with a smooth hydrating formula and an excellent value. Definitely a five star product that proves great beauty products can still be budget friendly.

This Wet n Wild Black Orchid lipstick honestly surprised me in a good way when it comes to application. It glides on incredibly smoothly, which I wasn’t expecting at all for a lipstick at this price point. It feels comfortable on the lips and doesn’t drag during application. The packaging is fine, but nothing special. It’s not as cute or eye-catching as some of Wet n Wild’s other packaging, but considering this is a very affordable lipstick, that’s not a deal breaker for me. The color was a little different than I expected. When I hear “Black Orchid,” I picture a very deep, dark shade. This one feels slightly lighter than that expectation — or maybe just not as dark as the name suggests. That said, it’s still a pretty color and looks nice once on. In terms of wear, it lasts a decent amount of time, but it does smudge, especially with eating or drinking. I wouldn’t rely on this as an all-day lipstick unless you plan to carry it with you for touch-ups. You’ll definitely want to be mindful of smudging throughout the day. Overall: smooth application, nice color, and great price. Just be aware of the smudging and the fact that the shade may not be as dark as the name implies. A solid budget-friendly lipstick as long as you manage expectations.
