Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act: The United States Federal FD&C Act Concise Reference

As with Allport-Settle's other titles, this is a great desk reference for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, food, and cosmetics industries. She has compiled information from many different places within the FDA into one, easy-to-search reference guide.

I like the font in this version and the layout. Otherwise, it is not up to date and as such, it is useless to me. It looks like good introductory information, but it lacks the FSMA amendments of 2011. The amendments are available on line, but it is nice to hold a copy in your hand and mark it up. The Food and Drug Law Institute may have a newer version, though I have not been able to locate it.
