Simpatico Low Acid Coffee - Regular - Organic Dark - Ground (5 pound bag)

I got heartburn. Not the occasional run-of-the-mill heartburn, but the kind that was so bad, it felt like I was having a heart attack. I tried another brand of low-acid coffee in the past that smelled and tasted like dirt mixed with gasoline. I went to a gastroenterologist, who told me it’s not the acid in the coffee that’s bothering me, it’s the caffeine. The doctor wanted to do an upper and lower GI and he gave me meds. I don’t like the idea of having scopes down my throat, so I declined the tests.I lowered my coffee intake to about a half a cup a day, because quitting coffee is just not an option. The heartburn went away. Eventually, I went back to my normal coffee-drinking, which is only one or two cups a day. The heartburn returned after a while.I thought that since most doctors don’t know what they’re talking about, maybe I should try low-acid coffee again. I did a lot of research and came up with Simpatico. I am happy to report the coffee is great, and my debilitating heartburn is gone. I’m off the meds. I don’t need tests, and my doctor was wrong about caffeine vs. pH, at least for me.I recommend Simpatico coffee.

I recently purchased this coffee due to being recently diagnosed with IC (interstitial cystitis) and need to be on a low acid diet. Coffee is a main trigger for bladder flare ups. I read the reviews for this brand and decided to give it a try. I have been drinking it everyday since I got it and have not had any issues!! Thank you for making this low acid coffee! Will definitely purchase again.

Delivery was really fast. Bag will last quite awhile. I need low acid coffee for bladder issues and this coffee tastes good and doesn't give me bladder symptoms. Would highly recommend.

First of all, thank you Simpatico for making an acid-free coffee for those of us will acid issues. I have tried other acid-free coffees, and while still not perfect to my taste, this is the most acceptable coffee I've tried so far. It may be a matter of personal taste; I do not care for dark/french roast coffees, and like lighter, very smooth blends. Simpatico, if you read this, would you consider crafting a smoother. blonde-type coffee? (Lower roasting temp, shorter roasting time). If you're a fan of a darker roast, this one's perfect for you. You will be amazed, when you can enjoy two cups in a row, without any unpleasant acid-issues.

Very good low acid coffee. I've recently switched to low acid coffee and use Coffee Tamer due to Interstitial Cystitis, Simpatico and Tieman's are my two favorites. Gave two bags of Tieman's - medium roast and decaf - to my brother and SIL, they were a. Oh hit!

I love this coffee! I tried it after having horrible problems with acid reflux a few months ago. It is cheaper than the brand I tried first, so I was pleasantly surprised when I found that I liked it better! My only issue is with the packaging. The coffee aroma is powerful even in my mailbox. My second order was punctured and coffee had spilled out inside the container. I made a mess trying to transfer it to my permanent container. I love the coffee, though; I will buy it again and would recommend it to others.

Like this coffee as it is smooth to drink and does not leave an after taste in your mouth plus my cup stays cleaner and so does the coffee pot - evidently the acid is what causes stains.
