Seems like a good peat based potting mix
This stuff is very fine and fluffy. Mostly peat with pearlite. I'm guessing there is also some compost in it because I do find the occasional partly broken down piece of twig. This bag is pretty big. Big enough to fill around 15 six inch pots I would guesstimate. Time will tell how long it holds up but it looks good and holds a lot water and drains fairly well.Update: 7\23\20 - Still a great mix but no longer a bargain..I just finished my second large bag of this mix and still think it's a good point soil. Second bag was identical to the first and there wasn't any large twigs or rocks. Also haven't had any fungus gnats.Amazon increased the price by nearly 50% since last year. It's still $16 at Ace though.

Awesome soil
Bought this soil for my, Golden Devil's Ivy - Pothos. All I can say is, Wow! My plants are doing so well in this soil that, I am amazed.. I have grown 8 small pots from cutting. Even the cutting do very well. The soil is light in weight and it drains very fast and it stays moist for three to 4 weeks.My Plants are very beautiful. A rich green and yellowish color. For house plants, don't over water the plants. For, this awesome soil do hold moisture for a long time. Over watering will kill the roots. The cuttings is the only time I keep the soil sorta wet. While it takes roots. This soil is worth the money. Believe me.

Blooms, Blooms, Blooms!
This stuff must work. I bought a hibiscus tree. When it first arrived, it wasn't blooming much at all. I transplanted it to a larger pot that I had filled with Proven Winners Soil. Within just a few days, the hibiscus started putting on blooms. More and more started appearing each day. Today, almost the entire plant is covered in beautiful, vibrant blooms. I've enclosed a picture. You can see the blooms. What you might not be able to see is that there are numerous other blooms that are ready to open any minute. It's incredible!
