What a find. for under 20 dollars
This is a wireless transmitter with no need for batteries door bell system. The receiver still requires power through a 120V AC plug in your home. This system comes with one transmitter and two receives to ensure this door bell is heard throughout your home. The ringer is adjustable with many different sounds. One of the best part is each receiver can have two different ringers! The range is about average 30+ feet from transmitter. There were NO instructions with it but this is a simple system (will describe below). The transmitter can be attached to the house with 3M tape or the provided pad 3M style and the two attaching screws/anchors. Once attached with the screws it looks nice and seems to be ok in the rain (since installed it has down poured and this has not affected the products usage). The only bad is the lack of instructions.First setting up the doorbell:1. Plug in the receiver to a wall outlet (note when you move it from outlet to outlet it may lose the tone you set).2. Slide your finger from the bottom of the receiver up to change the tone. Once you find the one you want hold your finger (2) one on the top of the receiver at the + sign and the other at the bottom on the other symbol for apx 5-10 sec. The middle light will blink.3. Than push the doorbell button to syncOne of my receiver I had to do the process above than touch the 2 again for it to sync (did not touch the transmitter at that point).4. To mount the doorbell transmitter, take the round base plate and add it to the spot you want it, ensure this is clear of all electrical and things that could knock or pull it down. Remove one side of the 3M tape pad and attach it to the base plate wall attachment for the transmitter. Use something small and poke two holes where they a line with the holes on the base plate. Than hold the transmitter to the spot you want the door bell and use a marker to mark the holes (aka through the two holes). Once done either use a proper drill bit to drill into the house for either pilot holes or holes for the mounting hardware.5. Pull off the other side pf the 3M tape and push the mount to the house a lining the holes to the per drilled one. Once done attach screws and you have finished. Easy as tying your shoes.

Very Good Doorbell -- Nice Sound/Music Options
After trying out the doorbell for less than a day, I found the following positive items:1) The range of the doorbell is more than sufficient for the three-story home (basement, first floor, second floor) I live in.2) There is a lot of variety of great sounds/music that can be chosen for the doorbell.3) Not having a battery in the transmitter is a great idea, that keeps me from having to remember to change the battery periodically. This eliminates the risk of someone on the outside thinking they are ringing the doorbell when no sounds are coming from the indoor receivers because of a dead transmitter battery.4) The price seems very reasonable. The only negative comment I have is that the instructions aren't as clear as they could be. After 10-15 minutes of trial and error (and trying to understand the printed instructions provided with the doorbell), I was able to figure out how to select different sounds/music, change the volume, and pair the transmitter with the receivers. A simple checklist of numbered steps on how to accomplish each of these tasks would be better.

Easy installation
LOVE THIS! Just moved into a new home in March. There was no doorbell and it was driving me crazy. This was so very simple to install. I love all the songs to pick from and set up was super super simple. My friends and neighbors love my having a door bell now so they no longer have to bang on the door.

Great not have to change battery
Have it for 3 months, works wonderful, not bother to play with the setting, I use default as long as it can be heard of is fine, our old door bell can't hear from up stair rooms, bought this just because I don't have to remember to change battery, 1 on up stair 1 on down stair no more dead spot. Have the down stair receiver plugged close to the front door, can clearly heard from inside and outside when ring in our small house.
