This unit is working very well. I haven't tried cleaning it yet. In response to comments about this plastic unit tending to float, I added a couple handfuls of 2-inch river stones to the plastic filter balls media to assure the filter module sank without a weight on top.

I have used this combination fountain and filter all summer (running 24-7). It works fantastic keeping the water in my 120 gallon outdoor tank clear. The water flow is more than adequate. It’s easy to clean when the filter material gets too much debris from aquatic plants in it. Really a great value for the money. I’ve had several fountain/pond filters and this one is my favorite.

I bought it 8 months ago. It would be a five-star; however, after 8 months of use, the propeller broke off the magnet. I could not see when I could purchase the part, so I had to order a new pump. Hopefully, this one will last more than 8 months.

I order this item the first time and the pump work for like 5 min. Then randomly stopped working. I reached out to vendor and order a replacement and vendor sent out a new one. It has been working well on our fish pond so far.

So far so good! Pump is working nicely and its quiet.

This is an excellent value for helping to keep a pond clean. Very powerful and effective if used properly. Provides plenty of flow for a waterfall and maybe a small fountain as well. Comes with many attachment options to fit your set up. Be sure the pull the suction feet up from the feet or they may get pulled out of the casing and be difficult to reinstall. If you haven't used one of these before, look up the directions for a similar more expensive pump as they are all very similar and the included instructions are very confusing and not complete.

I had a smaller pump with filter in my pond bought this pump with filter it was a little bigger next day every single goldfish was dead and it looked like some kind of oil was on top of the water. 15 year old goldfish all dead drained water out old pump back in with fresh water a week later new fish are just fine.
