Solid light. I am not a firefighter but a regular guy. I purchased this light to throw on my pack so I can be seen while rucking at night. Like the dual fuel capability and am happy I got the rechargeable model. The built in battery goes for about 3.5 hours. If I need more light I simply change out the battery to the supplied alkaline holster. I purchased eneloop pro aa and they power the light flawlessly. The only part of the process in changing batteries Is pulling the metal tab. It's a bit hard so I use the spine of my knife to get enough leverage. Overall very happy with this light. Time will tell but it seems like a quality built product. Only gripe is that Amazon sent me an opened box product on the first shipment, however, they replaced it right away with new product. I have noticed this with some items purchased at Amazon. Other than that very happy with this purchase.

dropped my light on a hard tile floor and the little led broke off the board. all i had to do is pay postage to them. they fixed and upgraded the clip and d-ring. and shipped it back. whats not to like. i used to have to buy a light every cuppla years or so. had these over 10 years and still dazzlingly bright!. waterproof and rechargeable. has a magazine for c-cells. but nevr used it. i heartily recommend.

When I first received this flashlight I was not really impressed with the output and thought that I had bought another underperforming light. I can say after using this light a few times this light has every thing I was looking for in a flashlight. This light has a nice throw and can light up an impressive area. I like the ability to keep on the charge for power outages and general needs around the house. Bought a second light to keep in my truck replacing my standby truck flashlight that I have used for years. No issues with battery or charger other than the incredibly long charge time. I found that by pushing up on the battery door you can relieve the pressure on the battery door latch and reduce the wear and effort opening the battery compartment.

Very bright and comes with an additional battery pack that you can put batteries in if you need to charge the other rechargeable battery.

My husband works out on the water. Someone in the USCG told him to get this, it's apparently what they use. This flashlight is NO JOKE. It's solid, waterproof and lasts a long time on a charge. My husband fully charged the batteries before his first use and I haven't seen him charge it since and he uses it every day (I ordered it in at the end of November and it's now the 2nd week of January). I ordered my husband this version so he can recharge the batteries easily. If you're going to be using this outdoors or even indoors (hello, emergencies), I'd say don't even bother with lesser flashlights. Just pony up and buy this one so you don't have to keep replacing the cheaper flashlights. It's a workhorse. 5 star recommendation!

I used this light while working in a rescue capacity during Hurricane Sandy that hit NYC in 2012. The Streamlight was the only light that performed flawlessly during the whole event. We had several bulky box style as well as portable "waterproof" lights that failed as soon as the saltwater hit them. This light was not affected whatsoever by the storm. It is compact, rugged, lighter than the others we had, and the battery life was great. The spring lever on the back kept the light fixed on front of my harness and did not break or fall off. It kept the light pointing forward at chest height at a great distance, enabling me to utilize both hands without holding the light and letting me see a good distance ahead. Large push button on top was easy to find in no light, and with work gloves on. When I think back, this light was truly the only piece of equipment that worked without issue during that whole event.

I like the flashlight itself, because it is really durable and quality made. It also gives a very good light stream and still gives side light. I did not like that they say that is USA made (not on Amazon), because it is assembled in the states, and everything else is made in China. Also the plug on AC charger is not suitable for central Europe because it has 110V 60 Hz intake voltage and not European 230 V 50Hz. The plug itself is also not made for Europe customers, but adaptors are not expensive. Overall the flashlight is very good and does its job, but it should be visible to buyer, what voltage and type of the plug is on the AC charger.

This was a very durable and useful tool for my son’s firefighting career. I know he’ll get years of use from this light.

I am really happy to have this flashlight. It worth the price. It's a good nylon durable light. The beam is so powerfull then I will never be in the dark again. It's even more pleasant then this flashlight come with a charger so I'll never run again finding batteries. Thank you guys at Amazon because the shipping was well done and fast.

Sono un vigile del fuoco volontario e noi in comando le usiamo già da anni… esistono anche torce più potenti ad un prezzo minore, però questo oggetto raggruppa varie qualità : robusta e resistente agli urti, facile da impugnare con qualsiasi tipo di guanto, il pulsante è facile da attivare , la batteria col suo caricatore è comodissima e può tranquillamente cadere nelle pozze e nel fango senza rovinarsi.

use it every day, super bright. I would get the rechargeable one. haven't used longer then 12 hours straight but the battery holds up my whole shift 24 hour shift.
