Scares the birds!
Hung these up on the deck in front of the camper. 2 per opening. The droppings are almost non existent and no birds roost up in the ceiling. I like the icicle look. Birds don't seem to.

I'm not sure, but they seem to be working. I had an issue with grackles damaging fruit in my Meyer lemon. These were really easy to install, but the thin rubber bands used for hanging are way too flimsy. I had to switch to lightweight wires as the bands kept snapping. I don't notice as much activity near the tree anymore. Next year will be the real test... this year's crop was already pretty damaged by the time I decided to try these.

Didn’t work for a robin
This is the second year a robin has decided to charge my slider repeatedly, I believe it’s the same bird. I put these on the gutter and they didn’t work. I got suction cup hooks and put them on the slider and they didn’t work. Will be returning.

They work well, but they are not durable. Wind will break them and blow they apart.

Working great!
I bought these to place above my deck ceiling fan to keep the mourning doves off. I tried using a decoy owl with a moving head, but even though I moved it around regularly, the birds got used to it eventually and started coming back. These hang down from the ceiling just low enough that the birds won't even try to get on the fan! Apparently, the shiny surface and the twisting movement is just enough to scare them away. I've had these up for 3 weeks, and NO birds!

So far we are happy with the results
I bought these to keep woodpeckers from damaging my pergola. So far, so good, it's been a month since I hung these silver rods up around the pergola and we've had no new damage. It's a very easy solution, hoping it continues to work!

Los compre para que los murcielagos no se duerman debajo de la palapa. Son muy ligeros, que ayudan para colgarlos de las vigas. Veamos como funcionan.

Funciona, pero no es la solución al 100%, no he encontrado nada que realmente me ayude a que las palomas se vayan.
