I was originally comparing this monitor to the InnoView 14 inch OLED portable monitor since on paper they look nearly identical. After reading through a lot of reviews, it became clear that Upperizon addressed many of the complaints people had with the InnoView model. After using this monitor, I can confidently say those improvements make a real difference. The first thing that stands out is how thin this monitor is. The entire body is aluminum, including the kickstand, and it feels very premium in hand. There are rubber feet along the edges where it contacts the table, which is a nice detail. Setup could not be easier. I plugged it into my MacBook Pro using a single USB C cable and it immediately detected the input and selected the correct resolution. No settings, no fiddling. Even more impressive is that it runs at full brightness using just that one cable. Most portable monitors I looked at require a second cable for extra power to reach full brightness, but not this one. The display quality is excellent. The OLED panel paired with 4K resolution looks incredible. I do a lot of productivity work with small text and everything is crystal clear. The resolution matches my MacBook Pro perfectly, which makes side by side work feel seamless. Colors look great and contrast is excellent. It also comes with a very nice carrying case, much nicer than I expected. You will want to use it because the monitor is shockingly thin and lightweight. I also appreciate that it comes with a two year warranty, which adds some peace of mind. One small limitation is the stand when using portrait mode. It technically works, but the screen sits too upright. I ended up using a small wedge to tilt it back slightly, which worked fine given how light the monitor is. I included photos showing both landscape and portrait orientation for reference. I am running this with a 2024 14 inch MacBook Pro and the proportions feel just right. Overall, for the price, this is easily the portable monitor to get if you want something thin, lightweight, and high quality that pairs well with a modern laptop. Compared to the InnoView version, the small price difference is well worth it, especially considering the better experience and the included case. I have only been using it for about a week so far, but if anything changes I will update this review.

I’ve been using the Upperizon 2K QHD Portable Monitor for nine months, both on the go and at home, and I’m really happy with it! The 16-inch screen is just right for a portable setup, so you can multitask comfortably without feeling cramped. Plus, the 2K resolution (2560×1600) is super sharp and clear, which makes reading documents, spreadsheets, and emails a breeze during long work sessions. I was a bit surprised to find that it’s great for gaming too! The 144Hz refresh rate makes for smooth and responsive gameplay, and the IPS LCD panel gives you vibrant colors without looking too flashy. The only thing is that the built-in speakers aren’t the best. You’ll want an external speaker or headphones for the best immersion. Whether you’re gaming or traveling, it’s way better than you’d expect from a portable monitor. The 450 nits brightness makes it easy to see in different lighting. Overall, this monitor is a great mix of productivity and fun. It’s dependable, easy to set up, and works well for both work and gaming. If you travel a lot or work from different places, it’s definitely worth it as a portable display that doesn’t feel like you’re missing out on a desktop monitor.

Amazing product, I connected it to both my MacBook and my PS5 with no issue whatsoever. The packaging is classy, the user experience is great, and the accessories seem of quality. The product itself appears much more high-quality than the affordable price suggests, almost giving an "Apple" vibe. What I was most impressed with, though, was the customer support: I reached out to activate my 2-year warranty and after 1 email, I got an answer in 1 day; they even sent me a free accessory. I would absolutely recommend. Very impressed.

I picked this up on sale and I’ve been using it for a few days now. Really impressed so far. I bought the 16” 2K (2560×1600) 120Hz version, but when I hook it up to my laptop it actually refreshes up to 144Hz. I use two USB-C to USB-C cables: one connects the monitor to my laptop for display, and the second goes to a power brick. With that setup, everything works perfectly. I’m pairing it with a Lenovo LOQ gaming laptop (Ryzen 7, RTX 4050), and the picture is smooth, bright, and has no flickering or ghosting. Colors look good, the screen wakes right up when plugged in, and it’s been great for gaming and general multitasking. No complaints so far. If anything changes, I’ll update later, but right now it feels like one of the better portable monitors for the price, especially if you catch it on sale.

The resolution is great. Nice packaging and great functionality. Easy to set up and perfect for my use. It is the 4th monitor in my setup and dedicated to a Claude screen.

Not bad & I do enjoy the increased viewing size vs my 16.5" ASUS ZenScreen. What I'm less than thrilled about tho is the combo case/stand, which is not only flimsy, but severely limited in positioning. As a result of the case/stand limitations, the monitor has an aggressive angle/lean, that tilts too far back for my taste. I've had to get creative with positioning + sandwiching items underneath so that the monitor doesn't lean towards the ceiling. I gave up after one use & picked up the smallest collapsible magnetic stand I could find (NLIEOPDA), that's heavy/sturdy enough to support an 18.5" monitor. So far, so good, but the stand put me out another $40 (vs the AMAZING built-in stand of the ZenScreen). Screen itself isn't bad, but also not as clear (almost a Cybill Shepherd-esque Moonlighting filter) vs the brightness/clarity of the ZenScreen. In addition, though the monitor does power/pass-through via the connected device w/ a single USB-C, the brightness is unusable in standard lighting conditions (so again, comparing w/ the ZenScreen), I now have to use 2 cables (1 for power). Attempting to increase brightness without the additional cable results in the screen bouncing/powering off. Regardless, it's MUCH larger (actually barely fitting in my backpack) & very reasonably priced, so I'll take the size over the smaller screen any day (though flexibility with USB Type-C inputs on both sides would've been a nice feature, but maybe a future model?). I've had it less than a week, so will see how durable this thing is (ZenScreen for example has been going strong w/ daily use for nearly ~2 years).

I was genuinely impressed with the picture quality right out of the box — the 3840×2400 4K OLED panel delivers colors that feel alive and extremely accurate thanks to its 100% DCI-P3 gamut and deep contrast ratio (~100,000:1), making it a joy to use for creative work like photo/video editing, design, or content review. Unlike typical IPS portable displays, the OLED blacks are truly deep, and colors look rich even at wider viewing angles. That’s huge for watching movies, editing photos, or gaming on the go — especially with the monitor’s support for HDR content (when your source device outputs it). Connectivity is solid: full-featured USB-C ports and HDMI mean it worked seamlessly when I plugged in a laptop, gaming console, and even a phone — and it was all plug-and-play with no drivers needed. I also appreciate that it’s built for travel — it’s slim, lightweight, and easy to pair with a protective sleeve/stand setup (changed how I set up remote workstations). I really love the HDR 2048 over the standard it truly adds more personality to a game.

It's my first portable monitor and so far it's the best experience I've had on one. Everything arrived well packed and with the respective care. It includes a case that serves as a support and feels good material. The resolution is as specified, the colors look incredibly good, you may not notice much in the photos and videos uploaded in this comment, but it's actually amazing. There are no flickering problems or anything like that, everything is perfect so far. It's plug and play, you don't have to install anything, just connect it and enjoy. I use it for work, opening multiple windows and everything is going well. The speakers are heard loudly, it is something that must be highlighted for the price as well. It feels very light and fixed for 16 inches and I consider that it has enough ports( 2 usb type C and 1 HDMI) for my use. I would definitely recommend it.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Portable Monitor – Great Value and Easy to Use! I’m extremely happy with this monitor. The Full HD IPS display is sharp, bright, and has very good colors for a portable screen. Text looks clear, videos look great, and the wide viewing angles are excellent. The 85% sRGB coverage gives much better color quality than I expected in this price range. Setup was incredibly simple. I connected it to my Raspberry Pi and it worked instantly with no drivers needed. HDMI works perfectly with other devices, which makes it very versatile. The monitor is lightweight, slim, and easy to carry, making it perfect for travel, working remotely, or adding a second screen anywhere. The included cover/stand is practical and helps protect the screen when moving around. This monitor exceeded my expectations. Excellent quality for the price — highly recommended!
