365 by Whole Foods Market, Organic Italian Barley, 8.8 oz

I love this stuff. It boils up well and gives a perfect flavor and consistency for whole grain barley. I love eating this knowing that I'm doing good things for my body without having to eat something flavorless. Keeps well in the cupboard and maintains a fresh flavor and consistency. It's pleasant to eat and serves up a surprisingly large portion of food given the size of the bag when dry.

Very good product if you like barley as a grain. I thought the price, quality, and taste (along withe the health benefits of barley) made this a recommended product to have in your pantry.

I use barley in many recipes. The problem with this organic barley is it is way overpriced. I buy organic barley at my health food location for half that price. Unfortunately, I am not allowed to return this item. I've learned my lesson with this product. Sincerely, J. Dixon

Great flavour

Easy to cook and tastes like a good one

This barley is ok but do keep in mind the actual size of the bag when ordering. On the plus side, barley expands when cooked and a little goes a long way. And organic barley can be hard to find sometimes in regular grocery stores.. I don't agree that this cooks in 10 minutes, more like about 30 minutes, and that's after a thorough pre-rinse and soak in cold water. Probably won't buy again unless I am unable to buy bulk organic barley locally but ok in a pinch.
