Our little one was so sweaty in that hot summer weather in a car seat and tried to turn head to avoid sun getting into his eyes. Our car windows are a bit darkened and was supposed to provide some protection, however, it appeared to be not good enough. Bought this shades as the description claimed to provide 98% sun protection and it was 3 big shades in a pack for less than 8 quid, seemed good value to me. The only thing I regret about is that we didn't buy it earlier, when the weather was so hot. However, sun rays can be irritating for little one's eyes in any weather and this protection is necessary for calm road trips. The only downside of it as that you can't open the window with the shade on, but I guess it's the case with all stuff like this. It's very very easy to remove and reposition, no traces on window and it doesn't fall off by itself no matter how often you move it. It's a big shade, enough for one side window, we use 2 and have 1 spare, which is good. Doesn't take much space when folded. I can see and feel the difference: the kid is much happier in a car, sleeps well, no sweatiness (it's not hot anymore, though), he doesn't try to close eyes and turn head to avoid sunshine. Good. The other good thing, the shades are actually see through, so it doesn't prevent older kid from observing when on a trip. Happy with everything.

Quite small , fall off after about an hour the car is just as hot as without , waste of money

Very easy to use as one just puts it on the window, no marks on the windows at all. Reasonable protection - definitely reduces the intensity of heat (we used in 40 degrees climate) and we could feel the difference with and without it. The carrier is very company and one can just twist the shades to repack. Very good to take along on holiday if you are going to hire a car. The only negative is that if one wants to use on the narrow part of the window, it does not stick well and can come off. The sun protection can be a bit better in preventing the rays flooding through.

Good car shades. They stay in place, provide a good coverage and protect my kids well.

These would be great as you don't see the wrinkles inside the car, but you see the wrinkly suction marks from outside the car so they don't look nice at all from the outside

Not recommend at all. Almost impossible to refold to get back in bag. Window glass has to be very hot in order for the shade to stick. It then falls off.
