ordered this as part of my collection of complete series dvds, and it arrived on the first day of it's delivery prediction and in perfect condition! keep in mind though, that this, like the other complete series dvds, is a UK dvd and DOES NOT play on standard US or Canada dvd players

This DVD contains every episode from the Fourth Series of Thomas and Friends, accounting for 26 episodes, which were originally released in the mid 90's. They are all digitally mastered, so the video looks vibrant, and the audio is clear.Keep in mind, this is a Region 2 PAL DVD, and made to work for European DVD players/TVs. If you live in North America, you must have a DVD player suitable to play it. It is easy to find programs to set your computer's DVD drive as region free, thus making the playback of this disc possible.

This DVD was formatted for Europe and would not play. My son was very disappointed. I did get a refund but not a version of the DVD that would play here.

First and foremost, it does not state, but this is not made for standard Blu-ray / DVD players in the US. YOU WILL NEED A REGION FREE BLU-RAY / DVD PLAYER.I have been a collector of Thomas and friends. I recently started out with own the first complete season which was told by Ringo Starr. The second, third, and fourth reason which I bought recently or some time ago was told by Michael Angelis. His voice is different, but overall is easy listening throughout the series. The quality is very good.The fourth season starts off with the introduction to the small engines on their railway, but every so often Thomas and his friends will also be part of the episodes. After maybe the first ten episodes (give or take), it does go back to focusing on Thomas and his friends. I am pleased with my purchase, and I hope potential buyers will buy this DVD set as well.
