This was exactly what I needed. Just some extra book shelves to line my hallway. I bought two of these. They were on sale on Amazon for $35.99. I didn't want to spend a lot and this was just about right. For the price, it's very good quality and looks nice. They're easy to put together. The instructions are very clear. It lists a few tools you need, but it comes with an allen wrench and a screwdriver and that's really all you need. You can push the footpads in with your thumb, but a hammer might actually be handy for that. It showed a drill as well, but I didn't have any need for that. I put each together, casually, in about 20 to 30 minutes, taking my time. It's a very simple design. The inner shelves (2 of them) can be moved up or down a bit using the pegs to vary the shelf height. On mine, I have the lower area at the maximum shelf height and could just barely fit a standard college textbook in. I'm very happy with these. I've included an image of two of them, side by side.

I’m really happy with this bookshelf. It was a big upgrade from my old shorter 3-shelf one and fits my growing book collection perfectly. I was super hesitant and undecided on which bookshelf to get because I keep buying more books lol, but I’m glad I went with this one. My boyfriend put it together in about an hour and it wasn’t bad at all. The instructions were straightforward and everything lined up well. It feels sturdy, looks clean and modern, and honestly makes my space look more put together. It holds a lot more than I expected, looks adorable styled, and was definitely worth the money. If you’re on the fence, I’d say go for it—great choice for book lovers with a growing collection. 📚✨

I bought the VASAGLE ULBC166X01 6-Tier Bookshelf in Rustic Brown a couple of weeks ago, and after putting it together and loading it up with books, I can confidently say it was a great purchase. It’s got a lot going for it, and while it’s not perfect, it’s easily one of the better shelves I’ve come across at this price point. Pros: It’s sturdy: This bookshelf feels way more solid than the cheap ones I’ve bought from Walmart's "Mainstays" or Target's "Room Essentials" brands in the past. Those tend to wobble or sag over time, but this one feels like it’s built to last. I’d say the quality is on par with IKEA furniture, which is a big compliment in my book. It looks fantastic: The rustic brown finish is beautiful—warm and inviting but still modern. It’s a real eye-catcher in my living room. Smart design details: The back panels slide into place instead of needing to be nailed in, which is a huge win. No annoying nails poking through or panels popping out! Clear instructions and extras: Everything is labeled, the instructions are super easy to follow, and they even include extra screws and dowels just in case. Little details like that make a big difference. All tools included: You don’t need to hunt down a screwdriver or Allen wrench—it’s all in the box, ready to go. Cons: It’s a bit small: This bookshelf is shorter and narrower than others in the same price range (like IKEA shelves), so it doesn’t hold quite as much. It’s something to keep in mind if you have a big book collection. Limited shelf adjustability: Each tier has three peg holes, which works fine for most things, but very tall books like The World of Ice and Fire or oversized comics, like Dark Horse Library Editions, just won’t fit unless you leave a shelf out. Takes a little time to build: It’s not hard to assemble, but it’s definitely more involved than some of the simpler shelves out there. I managed it on my own, but having a second person would’ve made it easier. Bottom Line: If you’re looking for a bookshelf that’s sturdy, stylish, and well-made, this one’s a great choice. It’s not perfect—especially if you need a lot of space for big books—but for the price, it’s hard to beat. I’d give it 4.5 stars if I could, but I’m rounding up to 5 because it’s just that good. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a bookshelf that combines good looks with solid construction. Just keep the size limitations in mind before you buy!

Putting together your own bookcase is interesting and normally I have someone else put together furniture. This time I wanted to surprise my husband by getting everything done by myself. I'm over 55 so this was a little more effort because I had to sit and rest in between exertions. First you have to get everything out of the box and then you have to use a screw driver and Allen wrench to put the bookcase together. Frankly I found the instructions easy to follow and all the items needed were well labeled in little bags. Yes they actually include a screw driver and Allen wrench which was very helpful! One person can put this together by themselves but two people would make it slightly easier. The pieces of wood were perfectly packaged so there was no damage. I used those "moving men" sliders to move the heavy about 40 pound box into the living room and then I used them again to move the whole bookcase into the office. The one thing I didn't have was the hammer they suggested using to knock in the little feet for the bottom of the shelves. I used my regular hammer which I put two napkins over and fastened it all with some packaging tape. That worked. I take no responsibility for you if it doesn't work for you. :) For me it was an easy solution and I didn't have to buy a second softer hammer. So yes, I'm very happy with this and now I put about 93 books on the shelves and it is holding up well and I'm pleased to have my own little library of books to read in my office. ~The Rebecca Review

Impressive quality for the price. It was easy to assemble by just me. The instructions say you need two people, but if you can lift a few pounds, you can do it by yourself. The bookcase is well designed and can hold a lot of weight despite being made from particle board.

Great shelves. I absolutely love them and I’m very pleased even though I was a little bit nervous based on some of the reviews I specifically purchased these shelves to fit on a ledge with a soffit that is located at the ceiling. They fit perfect and they look expensive they were very easy to put together. The kit was complete, and there was no damage whatsoever. I will provide one hint that when you screw in some of the provided hardware, you may see a little bit of chipping, but it’s very minimal and it’s only around the pre-drilled hole so you don’t even see it. The nice thing about these is they provide you with a black sticker to put over the holes and although it may sound cheap, at least with the black, you can’t even see it but the nice thing is you don’t see the silver screw head. Also, the instruction booklet is very easy to read and follow directions and it’s fully illustrated with words as well. I highly recommend them. I am using these shelves simply to display my books. If you plan on using them to store items that you’re gonna be touching and picking up and placing all the time or to store very heavy items I would recommend not getting them. I hope that helps.

Great bookshelves for my babies nursery! The only reason why I’m giving it 4 stars is because it was smaller than we expected :/ It was easy for my boyfriend to set these up, we got the 2 pack. We converted these bookshelves into a “closet” for our baby because her parents took up the 2 closets in the house… these shelf’s were perfect for her things! My boyfriend and I are short people (5’3”) so the height of the shelf’s ended up not being a problem in the end but if your tall don’t expect them to be taller than you. The quality of the shelf’s are great for the price we paid and I’d recommend using the wall anchors for security of placement!
