Achieved expected speeds
Works as expected on Fedora 42 out of the box and I was able to reach the expected near-5gbps speeds. There is an official Realtek driver if you want to use it, but doesn't seem necessary to get the full speed.

Powerful card, but not the easiest to set up.
I had hoped this network adapter would help me solve a problem I was having with my desktop. I have a 2.5 gigabit ethernet switch, but my motherboard's onboard 2.5 GbE NIC would only connect at a 1 Gigabit speeds. I thought it might be due to power levels and limitations on the computer's NIC, but unfortunately, I was still only able to connect at a 1 Gigabit speed with this card. This still seems like a solid card, and I'm left believing that there's an issue with the quality of the cable or couplers used with this link.I still like the card. It seems well built. I was surprised that Windows 10 couldn't find the drivers for the card. I had to manually type in the web address included in the instruction manual, and then I had to do some digging on that site to find the right driver package. For that reason, I wouldn't recommend a novice or less technical user buy this card. The card was a little tricky to install in my 1x PCI-E slot. The retention screws on the bracket protrude so far as to knock up against the motherboard's I/O shield. I was able to take off the plate and install it directly in the slot to get it to work, but you may want to only get this card if you have an open PCI-E slot further away from the onboard I/O interfaces.

Network Speed Increase Achieved
Ordered this NIC to upgrade my main desktop to match the 2.5Gb/5Gb/10Gb switch I recently acquired and it works like a charm. Installation was straight forward, popping right into an available x1 PCI-E slot then installing the driver package from the included URL listed on the NIC & manual. Tested both 2.5Gb & 5Gb connectivity, and both worked without any issue on this Win10 machine. A low profile bracket is included for those requiring it in small case builds. The performance increase over the 1Gb network interface built into the motherboard was substantial. Would highly recommend this product to those who are looking to take their network connectivity game to the next level on Windows/Linux based platforms. There are limitation of course as another reviewer has mentioned, due to this products chipset being realtek based, on TrueNAS installations.

Great network card
I don't have 5G, but I do have 2G and it reaches that speed from my UnRaid server. Plug and play, works exactly as i'd hope. Heat sink seems to keep it cool enough. The small bracket inclusion is also nice, if you need SFF support.

Poor speeds
I have installed the product and it is not working as advertised. I have 5b up/down Internet service. I'm Barely gettin 2,000 down and 1,000 up. I have reached out with no reply as of yet. If i do not hear back i will be returning.

Fast speeds, driver download was needed
This network card is a good upgrade from the maybe-one-gigabit ethernet ports that have been standard on motherboards for a few years. I've tested it on Windows 10, where I had to manually download and install the driver. I used the "NetAdapterCx" version of the installer, which worked as expected with very fast transfer speeds and reliable connectivity so far.

Quick install
I installed this card into and older PC that did not have multigig Ethernet. I was able to connect to my 2.5GBps switch with no problems using this card.
