This thing is great. Been using it for a couple of months now, taking it on the road and whatnot. Fits the latest gen Mini perfectly. The smaller size Apple Keyboard and Magic Mouse are snug in there too. Sometimes rolling up the Mini’s power cord and stuffing it in the side pockets without snagging it is a struggle, but it’s not a big deal.

This carrying case is well constructed, sturdy, and offers strong and effective protection to the contents. Starting from the outside, the shell itself is very firm, and it's hard to imagine anything being able to puncture or get through it. I haven't tested it but my guess is that the zipper isn't waterproof, so if exposed to prolonged heavy rain, some liquid will get inside. Otherwise, the two-way zipper is smooth and works well. The carrying handle has a flexible rubber-like strap to reinforce it and add some comfort and slip resistance. The interior has cutouts for various parts, including a Mac Mini, small keyboard, and accessories like cables and mouse. Everything seems to fit well. The accessory compartments are on either side of the main opening for the Mini, and are covered by sewn-in mesh netting. You pull back on the elastic end piece to gain access to these accessory compartments. If you're using different (bulky) accessories, you might have to work to squeeze them in. After prolonged use and frequent pulling at the elastic end piece of the mesh coverings, it's possible they could stretch or weaken and eventually might not provide as secure of a covering, but that's just speculation. The keyboard slot in the top cover interior is covered by a soft and stretchy thin foam, which offers a small amount of protection against things bumping around on the inside. Honestly this seems like a well made case that should last quite a while. I'd trust it to protect a Mac Mini (or other electronics of similar size).

WARNING!!! This case does not fit the Apple magic keyboard. It’s too small to fit the keyboard. I have the standard size keyboard the one that does not have the additional number pad, which is the smallest one and it does not fit.
