Easy to fit, excellent to use. A couple of warnings: 1) the push fit model is not recommended as a straight replacement for a brass stopcock. So you need to retain your original stop cock. 2) as this is all plastic don't forget to consider earth bonding.

Serves it's purpose, good price and reassuring that at a switch of a button one can turn the water off in an emergency. I have placed the switch on kitchen wall so it is immediately assessable & so I do not have to dive under units to find the stopcock. Would recommend.

Then it leaks. Less that 10 years old. The brass stopcock below it is 50 years old, still works and doesn't leak. Pointless gimmick fitted by a plumber who talked my wife into it.

Why every home doesn't have a SureStop as standard defeats me. In my view the best implementation for a water stopcock there is and essential for anyone with mobility/usability issues. Turn your water off easily when you travel, cold weather, etc. and no clambering, stuck handles, and hours spend looking for the stopcock as water cascades through the ceiling.

We have at last got the Surestop fitted and it is working very well. No problems and makes grovelling under the kitchen sink to turn off the mains tap a thing of the past, thank goodness. Would recommend this fitting.

Great bit of kit if you have a hard to reach stop cock, or find it hard to turn
