5ft Twin 58W T8 Non-Corrosion Fluorescent Fitting - IP65

Put this light up 18 months ago, It's been turned on almost constantly since. Best thing on this fitting over others is that the starters are not directly above the tubes - so the heat from the tube doesn't melt them when it is left on for days/weeks on end like it has on some fittings i've taken down to replace.Haven't had to change a bulb yet though, so only time will tell how good the end contacts are and the twist-fit mechanism which always seem to fail first on these fittings!

Got three of these to light my shed & workbench. Strait forward to fit & seem well made. They don't come with tubes installed, but its easy to find them in most DIY chains, (5ft)One star dropped as the plastic catches on the side that hold it together do not always sit correctly and tend to fall off when you are trying to assemble them. No biggy but a bit of hassle if you are up a ladder.

This must be the poorest quality light fitting I have ever had the misfortune to purchase. If you need a new fluorescent fitting spend more and get one that will last." As this unit was supplied for the merchant by Amazon I will in future put less trust in Amazon. As a result of this extremely poor purchase I will not be ordering from Amazon for some time.

Bought them due to them looking good value for money compared to other products, although I didn't fit them myself the "sparky" that did said they were very easy to install etcPost them being fitted they look good, ideal for a garage and a very tidy looking fitting.

I purchased two units which I received promptly. I was dissapointed to see that they did not include the fluorescent tubes, something that is not very clear in the product description: I had to re-read the whole description to see that tubes are indeed not included. Had to pay extra £20 for two tubes for which I could have bought a better quality unit at the price including the tubes. The unit itself feels very cheap and extremely flimsy. Good service, but not happy with the product itself and how it was advertised.

This is a good light functionally,but it is rather flimsily built,its made of very thin tin and dints if you look at it too much!!!

Bought this for our new garage. It is superb and lights it up very well no additional lighting required. Good quality and easy to fit. Ok for a DIYer, but always have electrics checked by a competent electrician

Good replacement for an ageing 8' fitting in the garage. A bit flimsy, but if mounted properly (on a roof beam in my case), this isn't a problem. Been going without a hitch for 2 years now.Beware - this item is sold without tubes. This was not stated, so I had to go to a local shop to buy two (which I would have added to my order with Amazon had I known at the time).
