Disappointed
The listing clearly states the height is adjustable. Please tell me how, nothing in the manuel, nothing online. The stand is fixed so the bottom of the monitor is approx 27cm from the bottom of my desk. That means the top is some 67cm above. Way to high an online.I emailed the company via their website email and via their online messaging. Nothing back 8 hrs later on a Wednesday. Hopefully I will get a responce from the company asap. The stand has notches and I can see that it is adjustable? But how?If not will have to return.***11th May 2025***5 days since I emailed the company and no reply despite chase up emails sent :-(

The GF400A Is A Fantastic Ultrawide Monitor - Unbeatable For The Price.
This review is for the Gawfolk GF400A 37.5 inch Ultrawide Montior.I've been looking at this monitor for quite some time but couldn't find anything online about this particular model. Eventually managed to take a the plunge and get a a used one of these on Ebay as it was going for a decent price.Firstly, i'll just be straightforward and say that this Monitor is fantastic and was a pleasant surprise because I was expecting it to be terrible from reading all the horror stories online about some other Gawfolk Monitors.Build Quality:The Monitor itself feels solid enough and doesn't scream "cheap" like some other budget brands. The stand is made from metal has one finger screw at the bottom so its easy to put together. Even though the monitor is secure once the stand is attached it does have a bit too much wobble for me especially when i'm trying to press the buttons underneath when changing any settings. There's a circular led at the back that adds a nice little touch to the overall look.Picture Quality:I have read that even though this monitor has a resolution of 3840x1600 that it has the same pixel density as a 3440x1440p monitor. This may or may not be correct but to me the image output is definitely sharper than my iiyama 3440x1440 monitor. Maybe it's a placebo effect who knows but im not complaining. The screen is bright and colours are vibrant although I had to tweak the colours slightly as I think the whites were a bit greenish out of the box and now it's fine.As there was no mention of what type of panel this monitor is using anywhere I can now confirm 99.9% to my eyes that this is an IPS panel. There's no black smearing whatsoever and blacks do appear greyish in a dark room.there is a little motion blur when FPS gaming but not enough to bother me as use the "fast" setting on the overdrive option. Overall my gaming experience is great. One thing that I don't think is working properly is the "Aspect" menu setting. The monitor is set on "full" by default and everything's fine there but when I choose "aspect" the viewing area narrows on both sides and is supposed to adapt to whatever resolution I choose emulating a particular aspect ratio but it stays the same no matter what resolution I choose. Hmm, strange. The menu system is awkward to navigate because there's around 5 buttons underneath that are hard to judge so I selected the wrong things so many times at first but i'm slowly getting used to it. The menu itself looks modern and has loads of options in there to keep most gamers happy. My PC gives me an option to choose sound through the Display Port/monitor but I don't hear any sound when selected. So i'm assuming that there are no speakers on this Monitor.I've only had it for a day so far so I can comment on longevity but so far i'm very impressed.
