I was so pleased with this little train set. I bought it for my granddaughter for Christmas, so as of this writing she hasn’t had a chance to play with it yet. But I did! I wanted to see how well the pieces went together so I opened it up. How cute the characters were. So sweet.First the box was packed in a padded outer box so no damage to the actual package. It’ll wrap up easily. Then inside each group of pieces was placed in sturdy little ziplock bags. I hate it when little children’s toys are packages in such a way that it takes a knive, screwdriver, hacksaw, and sledgehammer just to get to the toy! What kid has the patience for that?The track pieces were easy to put together. Not so tight that you have to be incredibly accurate and not so lose that they will separate. The littlest kids will probably need help at first, but the track seems to be forgiving with awkward little hands.Magnets on the ends of the cars make it easy to connect and the train goes easily on the track. I suspect she’ll enjoy putting the little animals in the cars and giving them a ride even off the tracks onto the kitchen floor.I would say the overall quality of train set is clearly 5 stars. The sweetness of the characters, the craftsmanship, even the packaging was easily worth the cost.Once Christmas comes and we get to play with, I’ll have the end of the story.

It's such a cute set. The pieces fit together well, even with other brands that we have, and the animals are adorable. My son loves putting the animals in the cars. My only complaint is that on the first day by son dropped the tractor and a piece of paint chipped off. I know toddlers aren't the most careful with toys, so I do expect them to get worn, I just wish it wasn't practically out of the box. But I would definitely buy this set again, and recommend it to others.

Alot smaller than I expected the pictures do not justice for this item although they are nice and seem durable the track is way smaller than expected and that's all it is is the circular track nothing more nothing less

This is the first birthday gift I bought for my son, because he usually likes to play with trains. He was very happy when he received it. The quality looks good. But after two or three months of playing, the painted car began to paint off. The unpainted tunnel began to mouldy. I think it's because my son played in the water. Cause. Because I've seen my son play in the water twice. Although he didn't put it in the water again, its quality still can't stand the test.

Super cute little train and track. We got this for my two year old daughter and she really likes it. Just a heads up, some of the track pieces are reversible. If it seems like the track isn’t fitting together in a elongated circle like it should, the straight pieces may need to be flipped over. All the pieces are big enough I don’t have to worry about my little one choking on or getting hurt whilst playing either.

This train set is easy to put together for a 2 1/2-year-old and fun to play with at any age.
