Underwhelming and ineffective for business travelers; good customer service
First, kudos to good customer service. First one arrived bent due to poor packaging/handling, but was promptly replaced. However the product itself has several problems for someone using it for business travel:1) it does not accomplish its stated purpose. I'm on a plane a lot. You can easily still tell what's on my screen, so the person in the row behind me and certainly next to me on the plane can easily see the screen. That defeats the whole purpose of a privacy screen. Whatever stuff they put in it needs to have a much tighter angle of visibility, so you literally can only see the screen if you're directly in front of the laptop. If you are at a distance from prying eyes (perhaps at a desk in an office setting) this might be a good bet.2) The mounting kit is terrible. I wanted a screen filter which offers privacy but also could easily slide off the laptop when privacy was not needed (especially due to No. 3). What's provide are these pieces of two-sided tape and thin plastic to stick on the edges of the laptop bezel. They didn't hold up well at all and the screen holders came right off in a matter of days. I MacGivered an alternative using small pieces of stronger, clear plastic cut from the bottom of a strawberry container. I then used Scotch Removable Clear Mounting Squares, cut in half. Plastic pieces were cut wider than the trimmed Mounting Squares, so a portion overlaps the screen edge and creates a little pocket for the screen protector to fit behind. The other portion is stuck to the Square and attached to bezel. I put two on each side and the bottom of the screenl. Then slide the screen protector on. The stronger tabs and tape worked great, and held up well. Since they're more durable the screen can easily be removed. That said, it is definitely more functional than aesthetically pleasing. The tabs are clear but people looking at your laptop may judge...if that sort of thing bothers you.3) finally, using it is like wearing sunglasses indoors: you can see your screen but it is dim. So you have to crank up the brightness level, which impacts battery life. That's to be expected if you want the privacy, but I mention it as something to factor in to the decision-making. That's one reason why No. 2 is important -- you need a viable system to take it on and off the laptop. Using it outdoors is very difficult as well -- too hard to see the screen.

Perfect for my needs!!
I work in clinical research, so privacy is extremely important in my workplace, so I went shopping for a privacy screen for my 14" Lenovo ThinkPad. I was looking for specific things when choosing the screen protector: It had to be sensitive enough to still allow me to use touchscreen and stylus (I write formulas with a styles and then convert them to printed with OneNote); It also had to be dark enough to where from a distance of a few steps away the clients passing my cubicle couldn't read my screen, yet, I needed it to be readable from a close range even at an angle, because I often work in partnership with others, and I need them to be able to see my screen from close-up. This screen was a perfect fit for my needs! As you can see from the pictures (not sure why they are flipped), the screen looks black from the distance but if you look very close, you can still see a bit (it's actually darker during the day, but a little more visible at night with artificial light, as you can see from the last picture. The installation was easy and it fit my wide-screen with narrow edges perfectly! The kit did not include the fiber cloth it said was included, but instead, it included 2 installation kits, which was useful in case I'd like to switch it to my second laptop or to replace the ones that I messed up when installing it on my first one. I didn't really feel like I missed out on much with the fiber cloth missing - just used a different fiber cloth I had laying around from an iPhone otter case I've bought a while ago.

Works but …
Yes this will give you glare control and privacy, it’s just a millimeter too large and does not apply easily to eliminate the air bubbles. The edges with it being a bit too large won’t lay against the screen.

Tacky looking
The only thing I really did not like about it was that the adhesive was very dry and difficult to peel off so they are not transparent after you put on your screen. It looks tacky. But I only use my computer at home so I am working through it but it gets the job done I guess. but it is very noticeable.

Gives great privacy for people walking past my office!
Work on confidential information? Or simply don't like people peering over your shoulder? Then this one is for you. I purchased it to keep passerby's in my office from viewing confidential customer information, and it works exactly as described. That said, this product is not without flaws... I have listed the pros and cons below:Pros:- The fit is perfect, it's as if it came with the laptop- People at a 60 degree viewing angle won't be able to see anything- Minimal decreased brightness from your view (although there is some)- Decreased eye strain- Customer service is awesome and fastCons:- The mounting "tabs" don't work at all on plastic bezels, leaving you only the "fixed to screen" method- The "fixed to screen" tape is basically just double-sided tape. It will be partially visible underneath the Privacy Filter- There is both a "matte" and "glossy" side of the Privacy Screen... make sure you use the correct side for your needs BEFORE mountingAll that said: yes this thing is worth it. You become used to it very quickly, and never have to worry about peering eyes again.

Not a privacy filter, 1/10
I got this item for privacy so I could do HIPAA work, not to just darken the screen. If anyone were to walk up to me from anywhere other than the side, they will see everything. Standing over me, or next to me and it does not protect. And from the side, it barely does. This is more of a screen protector for my laptop, not a privacy screen. Would not recommend.*edited to add pictures*As you can see.. there is a glare. The brightness isn’t as issue for me, it actually is kinda nice for my eyes. So far adhesion with one strip is working perfectly. My concern with this, is that it doesn’t provide privacy like it is supposed to.

Lego dañada
Llego doblada de una esquina la puse por que pensé no se notaria pero al ponerla si se ven las líneas marcadas o estrellada, me imagino que es porque venia en bolsa en lugar de caja, con quien podría revisar
