Good for play.
I got these randomly for my third grader and his friends to play with. For that purpose, they have served us well. The boys talk to each other throughout the house and the yard with no problem. The battery life is not the greatest, but I have not tried more expensive batteries yet. Overall I think these were a good purchase.

My nephews love them!!
I bought these for my hubby and son when they're working on one of many projects. These have made their time extra special not having to yell across the house. When my nephews visited last weekend they loved going outside to play and talk to each other from across the yard while building a fort. They worked for about 5 hours consistently while they'll ran and had a great time. My nephews have been calling me and telling my how much they want their own now.

Clear and crisp
