There are 4 control buttons, tv, cbl, dvd and an "AUX" buton that may work with a sound bar. I don't use a sound bar, so I can't be 100% sure.

Does it work on Emerson?

This little Universal Remote is surprisingly sophisticated, yet simple to use, and easy to program.
