It is a viewer and Not DVR/NVR
It is a stable, however it can de-wrap only a single camera at a time, also it can stream from the cameras directly real-time, however it has no relation to the DVR/NVR and can’t playback the history, this box is a Linux based and I believe it can improve, the following is my wishlist:- De-wrap multiple cameras at a time- Can view history recording from the Vivotek NVR or from the camera’s SD card.

Know what this is
We have (60) sixty 5 mega pixel Vivotek cameras, 2 NVRs and 8 of these RX9401 for viewing cameras in our hospital.They all work perfectly without any lag or issues. Very easy to set up and use. They work wonderfully and are rock solid.

Mediocre
Really laggy with only 4 h265 streams, underpowered decoding cpu or chip. Also this only works decently with vivotek cameras using onvif, I have one vivotek and three other brands and if youre not using vivotek you can only connect to other brands on the stream2 url which is reduced resolution vs the stream1 url. Frequent disconnects on the non onvif cameras. Needs software updates to fix the disconnect bugs and resolution limits on non vivtotek cameras.
