Justin, Justin, Justin...
He was hot in 2006. So hot, that we all got sick and tired of seeing him and hearing Sexy Back and What Goes Around... every day, twice a day (or more) during the summer and fall of 2006. Trust me, I was so sick of him, I thought that the overexposure would never ever end. And I'm right. He's still burning strong.I actually respected him for making the album Justified, because his vocals were smooth and the production was fun, yet laid back. What do I honestly think about his latest outing, FS/LS?Not much. Here is the short version of what I think of this CD:Overrated, over-bloated, less R&B-inspired than his first (which is a shame) and quite trite. Some of the songs are passable, and his voice is nice and pleasant like I noted earlier but overall, I wasn't feeling it.Here's the longer version, for all of you with a decent attention span:FutureSex / LoveSounds: Bouncy production, and sexy, sexy vocals. Has a been-there-done-that feel. :-/ 7/10SexyBack: Never ever really liked this song, and thought it was a tacky first single, at best. There are worse songs though. 6/10Sexy Ladies / Let Me Talk To You Prelude: Bland. 5.25/10My Love Feat. T.I. The second single off the album. Both dudes are attractive, but only one holds any talent. You can guess who that is! 8.25/10LoveStoned / I Think She Knows Interlude: Decent vocals, and the lyrics are passable. 6.75/10What Goes Around... / ...Comes Around Interlude: I didn't like the video, but this isn't the video. It's the song. It was the third single released, and probably did very well. Nice lyrics, and I love the switch in sound it makes at the 5:22 mark. Second best track on the album, and the best song he released from FS/LS with a video. 8.5/10Chop Me Up: The name of the song probably speaks volumes about the substance and depth of this particular track. Not my favorite by a long shot, but all I have to do is turn it to my favorite radio station to hear a Rap song way worse than this. Doesn't make this much better however! 6.25/10Damn Girl Feat. Timbaland: Nice beat. Lyrics are lacking though. But this is for sure; if Timberlake ever produced a "throwback" this is it. Should have been a single. It would've been rather huge!! 7.75/10Summer Love / Set The Mood Prelude: Repetitive, but again nice beat. 7/10Until The End Of Time: Probably his greatest song ever!! Has an old school R&B feel to it. Nice bass, but not overdone. Is it a ballad? Maybe, but either way it is awesome in more ways than one! To be very honest, if this was the last track (which I wish it was) it would've left you saying, "Damn. I want more Justin!" And you would probably have played the CD again, or at least put that song on for an hour or three! 10.5/10Losing My Way: I never got into this song until now. Lyrics are solid and very, VERY real. Could've done without the choir though; that was over the top. 8.25/10(Another Song) All Over Again: Guess I was wrong. This is simply the most old-school soul-ish (that's right, I said SOUL) composition this beaut has ever written. It's just simply beautiful! I never would've expected something like this out of him!! Especially on a CD titled, FutureSex/Love Sounds! I guess this CD ain't as bad as I initially thought. 12/10Overall, I wouldn't be embarrassed to purchase this CD because the last song is in my top 10 favorite songs EVER! I think it's probably in my top 3 greatest love songs EVER!And this is the guy who said that this CD wasn't worth much! Goes to show you I was proved wrong! And I'm glad!!I never want the music I listen to to suck!!Vocals: 7/10Writing: 5.5/10 (11/10 for Another Song (All Over Again))Production: 8/10Overall: 7.9166666666666673.9583333333333335 = 4 stars.OMG. 4 stars? I just gave Justin 4 stars for this release!Wow...Um. Well, I guess Until The End Of Time and Another Song (All Over Again) made that happen!4 stars. Even I can't believe it!

A Real Treat
Justin Timberlake is a star. However you feel about him, you know it's true. He has the whole package, and he's definitely working it. Future Sex/Love Sounds is well worth a spin. Like Justified, Future is a nice mix of pop/r&b/soul with blazing sex appeal. He indeed brings "Sexy Back", and while the radio has run it into the ground, it's an innovative pop song and is one of the year's best. Radio ruins everything though! The second single "My Love" is even better, and it's also the best song on the record in my opinion. It's so smooth and sexy and the beats are killer and fresher than anything out there right now. "Lovestoned" is another terrific track and is just as catchy. "What Goes Around" has been compared to "Cry Me a River" (such a classic!), but it stands on it's own as just a really good song. My only real complaint is that he could have went further with some of the stuff and made it a tad bit edgier, but it's only a small complaint. I don't think it's a major leap from Justified, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. A solo sophomore album is a scary and risky thing, but Justin pulled it off like a champ. He has a lot of ambition, he works hard and he is good at what he does. I just think he can always take it a step further and be more quirky and experimental than he is. I also have to say I love the booklet! At the risk of sounding like a school girl, he is gorgeous and I love the pics of him breaking the disco ball! Also the best cover of 2006 in my opinion. But focus on the music, then appreciate his beauty. He is a very talented guy with only brighter things ahead. Go Justin!

WORE this CD out!!!
First off I am not a huge fan of JT and bought the CD last year when it first came out... didn't even like "Sexyback" truth be told (due to the radio stations playing it so much) and I can't even recall what made me purchase it in the first place LOLThat being said I must say that when I got it I played it OUT!! I was so surprised at how many jams were on the CD. Listened to it day and night, at work, at home while cooking, gardening, reading told everyone I spoke with about it since I was like BLOWN away. Had several favorites from the "GET" and man I just couldn't wait for the radio stations to catch up with the ENTIRE CD because they were still playing "Sexyback" and as time went by and I would hear more singles released and played on the radio my smile was broad and my ears delighted that some of my favorites made it to the radio waves. Timberland and JT did a AWESOME job on this CD with mixing up slow jams (that will move you to close your eyes and nod your head) and dance music that will make you run out to the dancefloor at a club. With the exception of a few songs this CD is solid and I have this thing that if I like if out of a 12 songlist CD I like over 8 of them that is pretty dang good! For the record my faves are:1. Until the end of Time2. Lovestoned3. My Love4. Future Sex/Love Sounds5. Losing My Way6. All Over Again7. Summer Love8. What Goes Around (the remix version)9. SexybackRespectfully Reviewed

Great vinyl pressing of a classic album.
This vinyl pressing sounds fantastic. This album holds up well and has some jams that really make you want to get your groove on. I stopped listening to Justin Timberlake after the Superbowl incident with Janet as it was ridiculous that JT received ZERO backlash and that he didn't stand up for the iconic Janet Jackson AT ALL as she experienced tremendous amounts of ridiculous backlash. I lost a ton of respect for him as a human being and an artist. The reason this album is in my collection is due to the Timbaland collabs on many of the songs...Timbaland and Missy Elliot are two of the greatest music producers of all time, happy to have this Timbaland project in my collection, not happy it's JT.. but it is a great album despite the spinelessness of JT.

Great but...
Sexy back for some reason is faster than all the other tracks. It's really weird.

Arguably JT's best album
JT's second, sophomore studio album. The JT x Timbo connection really proved to be a strong force throughout the entirety of this album with sprinkles of Danja [Hands] and will.i.am [of the Black-eyed Peas].JT displays a more adult perspective on fling and love situations.Must-listens:"Lovestoned/I Think She Knows" – one of the best beat switches of all-time; from a dancefloor-filler to a melancholic eargasm."What Goes Around... Comes Around" – a great climatic record, telling the tale of a man once broken who learns of his old flame being on the end of karmic treatment from her new flame."Losing My Way" – the story of a depressed man, seeking help; the choir really is the icing on the cake at the tail of this track."Summer Love" – the kind of song that makes you want to have the time of your life with that special person, sharing many cherished, memorable, monumental moments together."Until the End of Time" – tear-jerker, so beware.

FUNKY!
Brilliant from start to finish. A review for each song :-1. Futuresex\Lovesound: To think I hated this one at first! A real grower and an overall excellent start.2. Sexy Back: This one doesn't need a review! You all know it.3. Sexy Ladies: Woah! Great song and so up beat. One of my favourites.4. My Love: Y'all know this one.5. Lovestoned: Y'all know this one.6. What Goes Around: Y'all know this one.7. Chop Me Up: Good song. Timbaland ruins it by stamping over the 2nd verse. But worth a listen just for the JT bit.8. Damn Girl: More funky stuff yet also pretty. Love it!9. Summer Love: Really nice tune to it, really uplifting.10. Until The End Of Time: My favourite. Perfectly pretty.11. Losing My Way: Another favourite, really good job of talking about hard times.12. Another Song: Beautiful melody. Love it.13. Pose: Nice to end on an amazing dance note.

Good but expected more.
The songs are very good, Timbaland really helped JT to do a good record.I bought if for the collection, very good, I would only expect companies to include lyrics and more visual stuff, considering how high we pay Vinyls. Not to mention it is fair they also include the digital download. Not in this case.

A really instrumentals Funky, Pop and Sexy Dance Album
I enjoyed listen to the album, very much soo. I Love all the songs that were singles and the ones that were not I liked, but my favourite is Chop Me Up & Pose (That are not singles). If you're a JT fan you will love the change from justified to this sexy promiscuous outcome of songs. If not a at Justin Timberlake fan I think your will come around to it after listen to this album.
