Big Jar of Delicious Vegan, Organic, Properly Made Protein Powder
Organic Vegan Protein Powder by BlueBonnet Nutrition 2.08 Pounds, Plant Based Protein, Zero Sugar, 8g Prebiotic Fiber, USDA Organic, Non-GMO, Kosher, Gluten-Free, Soy-Free, Chocolate Flavor Properly Made? Yes. Always make sure that a Vegan Protein Powder has some sort of Whole Grain (like Brown Rice) AND some sort of Legume (like Peas). I was told LONG ago, that beans and brown rice make the perfect (complete) protein. And it’s true. This kind of protein powder digests FAR easier than those with only Pea Protein (or something similar) and it builds muscle better and faster, because it digests easier and goes to the muscles better. 19 Servings? When I have Protein Powder, I usually have ½ to ¾ of a scoop. So a jar of protein powder usually lasts me over a month. The Quality This is not only Organic. It’s Kosher, Non- GMO, made in a cGMP facility, by a company with a very good website. Mixing It I always put protein powder in Almond Milk or Oat Milk, and it does NOT require a blender, but it DOES require a shaker cup. I use the Magic Bullet jars with lids until they run out and then the little plastic jars that a certain brand of ice cream comes in. And then I put them in the dishwasher. The Sweeteners A little bit of organic Stevia tastes OK and is not bad for you. Monk Fruit is apparently very healthy, and you get a lot of sweetness out of very little Monk Fruit. Since some Protein Powders have Artificial Sweeteners worse than actual sugar, this Protein Powder is far safer than those.

Tastes good, mixes well
I only use non-dairy protein powders and this powder fits the bill in that regard. I liked the nutritional profile until I noticed what I would consider an exceedingly high Sodium content (440mg). It mixes well and tastes good (subjective). At 2 dollars per serving it seems a bit pricey.

Lead content?
Don't like the taste. Was anticipating something that tasted more like chocolate, And, I wanted more information about the amount of lead. The manufacturer did not respond to my question about the amount of lead.

One of the best protein powders I have used
I’ve tried a lot of plant-based protein powders, and this one is easily one of my favorites. The chocolate flavor is rich and smooth, without that gritty or overly sweet aftertaste that some vegan proteins have. It blends really well in both almond milk and smoothies—no clumps! What really sets it apart for me is the clean ingredient list—USDA Organic, non-GMO, gluten-free, soy-free, vegan, AND zero sugar. That’s a hard combo to find, especially in a product that actually tastes good. Plus, the 8g of prebiotic fiber is a great bonus—it keeps me full longer and helps with digestion. I mostly use it post-workout or as a quick breakfast, and it gives me a solid 24g of protein per serving without any weird artificial ingredients or stomach upset. Also love that it’s kosher and comes in sustainable packaging. If you’re looking for a high-quality, plant-based protein that checks all the health boxes and tastes great, this is 100% worth trying. It's a little bit pricier than your usual protein powder but it's definitely worth it. Will definitely be reordering!

Blends easily but not with great texture
I really like protein powders that blend easily, without the need for blenders or other equipment. I had high hopes for BlueBonnet's protein powder, since it claimed to be easy-to-mix. The powder did mix easily with water, there were no clumps or leftover residue, the texture of the protein shake was a little off. It was slightly gritty and chalky. It wasn't enough to make the drink completely off-putting, but it was enough to make it a little less appetizing. By itself, the texture probably wouldn't have bothered me all that much. However, the taste was also not top notch either. The powder tasted too much like monk fruit, which took away some of the enjoyment of its otherwise rich, chocolate flavor. I don't mind things tasting a little like monk fruit or stevia, but in this case it was too much for my taste buds. When looking at the nutrition of the protein powder, it did have some saving graces. It had a decent amount of fiber, protein, and iron. It was a little higher in sodium, but it wasn't out of the normal range for flavored protein powders. I also loved how it was vegan and sugar free. If you prefer organic ingredients, it has that going for it too. While this was not my favorite protein powder, if its ingredients and nutrition label stand out for you it might be worth a try. It wasn't too bad as far as protein powders go, most are not perfect, but let's say this one still has some room for improvement.

Overpriced and sweet like a chocolate Hawaiian punch juice
I love that this is vegan of course, but that's pretty basic, like just the minimum. It's not like the whole brand is vegan. The company clearly just wants to reach more customers to make more money. As a long time vegan and as someone who frequently gets unflavored vegan protein powders to mix and create delicious drinks and dishes, this is not only ridiculously and unnecessarily overpriced (remember, plant proteins are far easier to produce with far fewer resources than animal derived ones), it also tastes awful. It has no sugar, but it's sickeningly sweet to me. I don't want to completely write it off because maybe if you are a big junk food and sweet drink person, you'll like it. I'm not the type of person that typically drinks pop/soda or juice. It might be good to make brownies with or something, but drinking it straight is not for me.
