I too ordered this to fix my A9. First let me give a shout out to Amazon. I ordered this screen and it arrived in less than 24hrs!I followed all the repair instructions I could find. I would add one critical piece of advice. To remove the screen requires more heat than most people are comfortable using on the phone. Hot to the touch before the black OEM adhesive would release.Anyway: After removing old screen, scraping the old adhesive away I was ready to test. I too connected the display and got a snowy image (random pixels). After reboot the problem cleared and the screen is operating correctly.–---------------A full week of use later and no issues. I would recommend this part for A9 screen repair.

The part and the additional tools are great. The downfall is after spending an hour and half getting everything perfect and then turning it on to see the screen look like small pieces of cotton candy everywhere. Absolutely pissed off. Of course after taking the time to put together now I am out $103 bucks plus the 5 days waiting to put my phone back together.
