Fun and effective, but don't expect to burst into tears
I've had these a day now, and thought I'd write at least an initial rewiew. I went outside in the low angle sun of a December afternoon and tried them on. I can say there is a difference, but it's not like all the new colors exploded in my face. I didn't cry or anything.Without the glasses the "green" traffic signal doesn't look green. The red and yellow ones do look their colors, so for me, it's always been red/yellow/other. Grass looks green as is always did. Sky was blue as usual. Some blue flowers seem to pop out of their green bush more. As did a few red flowers on a green bush. (It's SE Texas, we have a few flowers in December)As I've been wearing them, I've noticed a few things that are different. Just about everything is a little more colorful, like someone turned up the saturation knob (millennials, ask your dad). Traffic lights do have a definite green color now. Highway signs with a green background look more deeply green. I notice colors popping out on a few things I didn't before. Just more color intensity in general. Is the difference night and day for me? Not really. Do they help (as advertised)? Yes. Are they fun and make life more colorful? Yes.As for the tint, they're definitely sunglasses and too dark for inside use, but just right for sunny day use. I wouldn't say they introduce any color bias, just more of the same, which is definitely a neat trick. The package came with some color balloons and I can't really distinguish the orange/green ones without. With the glasses, they do look burnt-ish orange and bright green. The purple one does look purple vs. the blue one. I'll have to let my eyes adjust to purple (or learn what it is) since almost any shade of purple was just a shade of blue before. On the Enchroma site's eye test, I tested moderate Protan before, and mild Protan with the glasses. There are still patterns where I see nothing. So, they're not like corrective lenses that can take you from 20/400 to 20/20 for just about anyone. I know they're not supposed to enable you to pass the color test, but since that's THE test, why not? They help, but it's not a 100% cure.I would recommend following their instructions. Put them on during a sunny day and leave them on. Look around. Flipping them on and off doesn't do much. Wear them a while so you see lots of different things before you decide to keep them or not. Basically, follow the manufacturer's instructions, not the Youtube videos.Personally I haven't decided yet. They're fun to wear but that fun is expensive.4 stars for working as advertised, but not a perfect solution.

Worth trying due to excellent customer service
I have 2 sons who are colorblind. They were "strong deutans" on an online test. The glasses did enhance some colors mildly for them but not enough to keep the glasses. I gave them a 5 star rating because the company happily returned the glasses and answered questions I had over the phone. Excellent customer service. I tried them because of their return policy coupled with my uncertainty of how well they would work with the type of colorblindness my kids have. The frames are good looking and well made. Nothing to lose by trying them!

Dissatisfied!
I bought this for my husband and it broke after two weeks of use. Could not believe how expensive these can be and I thought the quality was great but No.

Had to revise my review.
1-14-19,It was a gift and my husband thinks they’re just an extra nice pair of sunglasses. Can’t see much difference except to say that reds look more red WITHOUT them1-15-19Must eat crow!!! Today there was a rainbow overhead and my husband was able to see the full spectrum for the first time in his life.

Opened up a world of color, but are now broken ***Revised Review***
Bought these for my son in March. I literally cried watching him walk around the neighborhood pointing at colors and stopping to stare at trees and flowers and stop signs that were so vivid. He has worn these almost nonstop when outside or driving.Unfortunately, two days ago while getting out of his car they broke. Just fell off his head. They broke a bit up from the screwed hinge I. A clean break without hitting or snagging anything. I sent an email to the company a few days ago and am waiting to hear back hoping to get the glasses replaced.I would have given a full five stars, but breaking like they did, I had to drop it.July 31...After contacting Amazon and sharing the issue, they were more than helpful. I was informed of a two year warranty and without another question or need to return the broken pair, I was told a new pair was in the way. Two days later, there they were. Again my son put them on, had forgotten how much of a difference they had made in the week or so without them, and was very happy.Thank you Amazon and Enchroma.

For color blindness
I bought these for my husband who is color blind. He sees beige, gray, cream white, light blue, light green, almost all as 1 color. Everything is bland to him except vibrant, primary colors and these are not as vibrant as I see them. He now sees everything with vivid color. He says that the grass is so much greener than he's ever seen, the red on signs on the sides of roads a much redder, the skies much bluer, etc. He's very happy with them and I am so happy to have been able to provide these for him. I bought them when he was 80 yrs. old. They were very expensive considering the frames are flimsy, but knowing he's happy with them, I'm glad I bought them. Wish they had been available long ago.

Three Stars
Didn't help at all. It is definitely a hit or miss for the color blind group.
