I love this stuff. I have dry, thick, half-gray hair that's wavy in some places and curly in others. Over the years, I have used a variety of gels and creams. Not to mention special shampoos and conditioners. And coconut oil. They all ended up making my hair feel heavy and dirty. Some made it dryer and several made my scalp itch, unless I washed my hair too often, considering it is so dry. This flaxseed gel makes the waves and curls defined, adds moisture, and it lasts. I can get up in the morning and refresh curls easily, either with damp fingers or a tad more Gel. It 's remarkably light and clean feeling. And it doesn't take much at all. No itchy scalp. No stiff hair. And, it smells great--not a strong smell, just pleasant. My only wish is that it came in a glass jar or a milk carton kind of container instead of plastic. Maybe even a milk carton type refill for the jar.

I have become allergic to conditioner & fragrance. I use this is gel for my naturally curly hair and it holds a cast really well. It also helps to detangle after washing, since I can't use conditioner now. My curls look great & it smells amazing! Surprisingly great hold for curls. Absolutely love it:)

This gel has the consistency of pudding, and to me it has a faint coconut scent. Nice. It goes onto hair smoothly, and I didn't find it to be sticky. My initial application was to use it to style my hair in a bun. Next time, I will try some twists to see how they come out.

I have thick wavy hair that does what it wants and this does help soften, control and tame some of the frizz.

I have been using this flaxseed gel for quite a while for my curly hair, but as the gel it’s thick, so I mix it with the flaxseed gel that I made myself at home, and a bit of aloe Vera gel and almond oil. It smells good I like the scent, it has a good quality texture, the weight of the package is light, and it hydrate and hold my natural curls.

Works good on my hair , it makes my hair stronger , and it holds well!

For some reason, I found this product to be drying on my hair. Just mildly, but it was noticeable. I have 3C hair and find other products work better for me.

I have tryed so may hair products and generally feel they do nothing. This gel is awesome. It is fragrance free which I need, it still has a nice faint coconut smell. It feels great. Doesnt irritate my skin. And if I put it in wet hair then braid it it looks so good the next day, and it holds longer than other gels I’ve tryed.
