I like a few others was dubious about buying this product because of the many negative reviews, however I desperately needed something substantial to protect my Apple Watch from any accidental bumps and scrapes. I am so very pleased that I bought this - it protects my screen perfectly and also protects the sides of the watch as well which is an added bonus. I will be honest and say it was slightly tricky to install as I had to really stretch the case over my watch and I was worried I was going to break it but once it was over the side wheel it was a doddle and definitely worth the hassle for the end result. I also definitely do think it has affected the sensitivity of the touchscreen slightly but not to the point where it becomes a nuisance - I just have to be slightly more conscious when I’m scrolling through/clicking on things. Overall it is 100% recommended as it’s the only type of water cover that protects both screen and sides and it seems to be very durable - it’s already saved the watch on many occasions. On a side note - I have not experienced any of the issues with water gathering under the watch. Granted I am not a swimmer and I don’t usually wear my watch in the shower but there have been a couple of times where I’ve forgotten to take it off before getting in the shower and it’s been absolutely fine - same with hand washing.

Great. Easy, protects what more can you want

I have a sort of love/hate thing for this product. On the one hand it offers great protection and has saved my watch from being scratched by absorbing the impacts, and it provides easy access to the buttons and strap changing. However, on the other hand it has many flaws. It is difficult to get on the watch and requires a lot of pulling and stretching to get it on. When installing, you would be lucky to get it on the watch without dust getting caught in it, requiring you to remove and clean and reinstall a number of times before it is dustfree. The screen protector part of the case has a strange dotted matrix screen that can make the watch face look weird and mottled under the light of the sun so it can be difficult to look at. The touch sensitivity is affected by by the thickness of the case to where sometimes you’d need to press harder a second time to get a response, and this is even worse if water gets under the case and interferes with the screen. I’ve worn my watch with this on a few times doing hard workouts and have had to take it off to clean the sweat from inside the case and watch screen because touch responsiveness was all over the place. So yes, it does protect your watch but it comes at the cost of all the above, so know what you’re getting yourself into if you buy this

Wasn’t what I was expecting but in a much more positive way.I wasn’t expecting the item to be of this quality. I currently have the black one on and it’s great. It covers the watch incredibly well. Easy to pop on and off. My previous cover would fly off when caught or bumped. These covers have to be fitted without the straps on the watch then the straps slipped back on. This makes for a much more secure fit.Very happy. Would definitely recommend.

I was really excited to receive this item. I have been loving cases for phones/tablets and now my iWatch with built in screen protection! It transforms the appearance of the watch aesthetically, easy to put on and gives super all round protection. I used to have a Fitbit charge 2 and would regularly aquire scratches on the screen accidentally whilst at work, but this will definitely prevent that from happening with my new iWatch 3. I also bought a metallic watch strap from Amazon to go with it and it is well colour matched too. I don’t know why people would want to pay Apple’s prices for their accessories when there are things like this on Amazon, so reasonably priced, great quality and also well thought out. Very pleased with my purchase and highly recommend :-)

I’ve submitted this review already, it’s now live on the website according to Amazon but nowhere to be seen. It looks to have been buried, all I can see are positive reviews of a terrible item going back to October 2021, when my review was added last night. Makes me not trust Amazon. Back to the protective case. Awful item. Hard to put on (you have to remove the watch strap) and once on it immediately makes the watch looks cheap and nasty, more like a £30 knock-off, also available from China via Amazon. If you wear it in the shower, water will get under the screen and stay there all day. In the right light you can see weird striations in the plastic. It also marks really easily so it looks scuffed up after only a few hours. I’d save your money and enjoy your watch without this monstrosity.
