Nothing Is Impossible: My Story

I have recently been clearing a wish list and suggestions come up from Amazon of course with other books and things they think you may like; well this book came up. While it starts pretty interestingly enough, it begins to become repetitive really quick. He ( the author) name drops throughout most of the book and just talks about the experience of putting together his television show "Dynamo: Magic Impossible" and his strong desire to perform magic. To be honest, I think this is a book for the teenage/young adult category and that is the only reason I am giving it three stars. I stopped reading at chapter 12.

This man is pure inspiration. I admire him greatly. To over come such great difficult is and pain, to become the worlds best magician. This man has real talent.. I often feel he actually has some real supernatural powers. How else does he do what he does. He is very strong and committed to his passion. What a true inspiration you are Stephen Frayne. Superb book. Bless u Stephen for sharing your life with others. You truly are an incredibly amaizing man. I hope the world treats you well.

I found this a really enjoyable and inspirational book. I finished the book really feeling connected to the magic of life and Dynamo somehow manages to leave you feeling full of belief...that anything truly is possible!He is a fantastic role model with his feet well and truly on the ground, thank you Dynamo for sharing your experiences in such an honest and open way!

Steven Frayne takes us with him, in his endearing and authentic manner, as he moves from social and physical adversity to triumph, as the amazing magician Dynamo.As a biography of an exceptional person, it is well worth reading. It could also serve as an inspiration for anyone struggling to overcome their life obstacles.

I bought this book for my grandson because he is into Magic. He loved it and this is his favorite magician. It was very much appreciated.

Inspiring, honest, heart-felt and motivating! The truth behind this powerful individual is awe-inspiring! I was glued to every word and experienced every heartbreak, loss and disappointment; but also every success, victory and achievement! Loved it!

I love Dynamo and all the amazing magic he does. I was a little disappointed with the book though. It started fine and was interesting to learn about him growing up and all the problems he had at school and his unfortunate bouts of hospital stays. As I got further into the book it seemed he was mostly talking about the various magic stunts he's done, which most people have already seen on tv and lots of name dropping various celebs. I'm about 64% through it and to be honest, I'm thinking I might not even finish it (waiting for another book) it's all a bit 'samey' just talking about where he's been, who he's met etc etc. I just wish he would make a new tv series, I will definately be watching out for it if he does.

This book, by Steven Frayne, or Dynamo to you and I, tells the story of his upbringing in his home city of Bradford. He was bullied at school, and spent a long time in hospital, where it was found that he suffers from Crohn's desease. Whilst he was in the hospital, his grandfather taught him some magic tricks, and he was immediately bitten by the magic bug. This book tells the story of how the discovery of magic tricks, changed his life........a great read.

This is the amazing story of how this ordinary guy, who came from such a difficult background where he was bullied and suffered with Crohn's, made it to the top with the strong inspiration from his beloved Gramps. My daughter read it after we had been to see him live, and I have just finished reading it. Hats off to the man. He has worked so hard to get to where he is and he is a true inspiration.

The book contains an interesting story of the life of Dynamo but I found the writing to be rather dull and failed to capture my attention fully. If you are a fan of the magician I’m sure it is a great read, but as someone who was just intrigued in his life it didn’t interest me too much.

Thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. It shows the true grit and determination of Steven to overcome any hurdles life put in his way, and succeed in living his dream and becoming the amazing magician, Dynamo. At the same time he never loses his sense of humility and compassion for others, always treating everyone with courtesy and respect.A touching and thought provoking book, full of encouragement, that with hard work and willingness to keep working at things, we can all achieve in the end.
