I'm an SE and need to solve weird structural problems frequently. This book was OK, but not the "handbook" it purported to be. It covers a few basic examples, and there are several handy tables.

This book is excellente to understand the behavior of the connections and how they should be analyzed according to their degrees of freedom. Easy to understand and very didactic.

Good material and explain well, but examples and details are not manage well, and I think not a very good reference for prof. engineer .

Not very helpful, many of the connections are outdated. The design practice in this book is also outdated. My recommendation for detailed steel connection design is buy the latest structural software.

I have been looking for a good steel connection refereneces for a while now and looking forward to this book.

It is a mediocre book and not that much impressive. The sample problems are the same as previous edition. Nothing new.
