A facial in a bottle!

I have complicated skin, I'm Native American! Luckily I've never had any real issues with acne, but my skin is VERY oily, then sometimes it gets almost like snake skin that doesn't want to break free, i can feel it dry and it kind-of moves like 2 layers. I CAN'T use any sort of moisturizer, then i WOULD have acne, I've bought many different brands at Macy's, even tried the cheap Wal-Mart stuff, but I need to get the dead skin off without damaging the new, and still keep the oil in line! After MANY tries, I've found i need a strong astringent for The oil, but the dry skin just hangs in there! I've tried natural loofas, rubber ones, even expensive face wash with the scrubbing beads are a joke-they actually leave me feeling like a grease ball, micro-derm, and more, NOTHING scrubbed and addressed my oil! Ever since i saw those charcoal strip ads, I've thought how great it would be to have one for the entire face, like the awesome peel-off masks my mom put on me in the80's, but you can't find a REAL peel-off mask anymore. I battled until i found this amazing product at the store last year. I bought it, and it was like i took 10 years off my age! The charcoal starts to work as soon as you massage it in, as it dries, it lifts up the dead cells, pulls the oil out of your pores, and when it's dry and you peel it off, all that leaves, & you're left with smooth, tight skin! The best part is that you aren't left dry like the Mojave, somehow it feels dewey, but like a clean, water (not oil) dew! I was enamoured, but the store was out, so I came on here and bought a ton! I'll be good until I'm a senior citizen now! DON'T pass this up if you have the right skin type!!!

Normally I avoid beauty treatments with alcohol as the top ingredient but for peel off masks I think you can’t get away from alcohol. I haven’t find this mask excessively drying which is a worry from alcohol + charcoal. During the summer I think it really helps to sop up extra oil and sweat as I only use it after I workout. It’s not as nice as the ordinary’s charcoal mask but it’s much cheeper so I know which one I’ll be sticking with

it doesn't seem to do any harm to my skin, but I also haven't noticed any improvement. I expected my skin to at least feel smooth or refreshed after using it and was dissapointed. It may have to do with skin type so I didn't want to give just one star. On a positive note it was easy to apply and remove, but did take about 30 minutes to completely dry and not the 10 minutes it says on the bottle.

I’m finally at a stage in my life to have a skin care routine. I use this about once a week and it really keeps my face clean of any break outs. Amazing! It takes some trial and error with application but now I can get it on pretty quickly and evenly. Make sure you leave it on for less time for the first time because once it sets too much it’s painful to remove. Otherwise it feels fine to peel off. My number is 7-8min only of dry time. Also try not to layer too thickly. It feels really nice and cool while it’s on your skin. No bad smell or anything. I recommend as someone who has never used a lot of products before.

Great mask. It's not too liquidy, or too goopy. Applies easily, no drips or tugging on the skin. I used a silicone mask tool for less mess. Gives a nice even peel, it doesn't come apart in little pieces. Great experience

Shortly after I applied the mask on my face there is an immediate burning sensation and I have to wash it off immediately as I was experiencing excruciating pain which I almost have to ask my family to take me to urgent care. The manufacturer put some dangerous or defective chemicals. I just contacted Amazon to take it off the shelf and I plan to take legal action if I sustain damages to my face. I felt like I just suffer a chemical burnt.

Sometimes, these masks require a thick layer to work, but not this one! Didn't have to overdo it, worked well on my skin! Happy that it came with 2 6-oz bottles!
