Fits perfectly in a 2 inch diameter soffit hole. Use a flat board and gently tap it into the hole with a small hammer. The screen weave is nice and small, too (about 0.07 inches), which will keep out termites and other insects.

So l installed a "Stage 2" jet kit consisting of 45 pilot jet and 145 main jet on the stock Mikuni BST40 CV carb, so needing more airflow was a necessity. These little round screens are perfect for my situation. I removed the carb rubber snorkel then covered that with fine ss mesh and secured with a few screws. Close by l had enough room on top of the air box to drill a 2" hole. This screen popped right in place. Perfect. Now my DR650 can not only breathe much better, but now critters are unable to nest inside my air box. These should work on practically any airbox on most motorcycles. Good luck and hope this helps!

Good fit to pipe and helps catch debris.

They fit well into the hub of a 2" PVC fitting. Very snug. The only thing is the wire is so flimsy. You can literally bend it by pressing in with your finger. If you buy this to keep out rodents I recommend reinforcing it with some extra galvanized wire mesh, because I think a rat would be able to chew through this easily.

Exactly what I needed; I went around the inner ring a few times with electrical tape to make it snug.

The original screen material that was attached behind the vent holes on our home was showing signs of animals trying to get through. I installed these vents during the summer. Some of the holes seemed a bit tight, but in the dead of winter a few of these vents fell out. I will reinstall them in the spring with a bit of caulk to ensure they stay in.

Used them to block the furnace vents outside because I came across something that said that insects and rodents could get into your house through them and instantly became paranoid about it happening lol
