Sturdy stool, easy to assemble
This seems very solid and good quality. The flat pack assembly instructions were the best I have ever seen, and the pack even contained all the tools required. It takes just a few minutes to put together and looks built to last.

Worth the money
This product isn't necessarily easy to put together as instructions not totally accurate but the end result is worth the effort.

Artist’s adjustable wooden stool
It’s a good quality wooden stool. Sturdy and well made. The only problem is that it’s not easy to assemble! The screws are too short to make a solid fit! You’ll need a bigger screwdriver and a couple of longer screws in a couple of places.

Satisfactory, but long-term robustness is in doubt
This is a satisfactory piece of furniture. It comes as a complete 'kit' including all fitments, Allan key and even its own screwdriver. The 'splay' of the legs is not great and so the overall sturdiness of the stool when sat on is not great, but satisfactory. The entire rigidity of the stool is dependent on getting the screws which hold the metal plate for the threaded central spindle completely driven into the hardwood stool top. This is not as easy as it sounds. If they are not 100% driven in, the top of the stool will wobble and potentially you'll have to disassemble the stool. So far OK. However if these three small brass screws start to work looks, I think the whole stability/security of the stool will fail and my guess is that this may not take long (months, not years) and I will update the review when there is more information. Why is it necessary to stick on a label which does not come cleanly off and which I had to use alcohol to get off?
