I loved the flavor of this hominy corn. I cooked it in my crock pot after I soaked it. I love Goya products. Thank you Amazon for giving us a great variety of Goya products to choose from. I buy Goya products whenever I can. The Goya family supports our great America and loves the Lord.

I had not used dried hominy before, but the store was out of the canned stuff. I only wanted two 14.5 oz cans worth, but didn't know how much one of these packages would make. I cooked the whole bag in quite a bit of water, maybe 8 cups, in the Instant Pot pressure cooker. It took 90 minutes to soften well, and made probably 8 cups of cooked hominy. It is only the size of regular corn once cooked, but it is very good tasting and I will definitely use it up.

Not the seller's fault that Goya uses a fragile packaging. I bought 3 packages, and one was torn open. The product was not harmed and I was pleased to use it right away. One slight negative about the product itself was that the kernels were mostly broken, but it hasn't made a difference in the quality.
