Naturally European Fragrance by Somerset hand cream, Rose Petal 2.53 Fl Oz

I’ve been using this hand cream for a couple of weeks and it’s quickly become one of my favourites. The formula is thick and nourishing thanks to the high shea butter content, but it absorbs faster than I expected, leaving hands soft without a greasy film. The Freesia & Pear scent is light, slightly floral with a fruity edge. It feels elegant rather than overpowering, and it lingers gently after applying. Perfect if you want something that smells nice without being too strong. The 75ml size is generous for a handbag or desk, and the boxed packaging makes it gift-worthy. The only small drawback is that because it’s so rich, you don’t need much per use, if you apply too much, it can feel heavy at first. Pros: deeply moisturising, subtle scent, lovely packaging. Cons: a little rich if you overapply. Overall, this is a luxurious hand cream that feels like a treat but also delivers on hydration. Great for dry hands or as a thoughtful gift.

It is hard to find rose scent. I was happy to find this. It is my bedtime treat to put this on, and go to sleep smelling roses. Like I said, rose petal scent is not easy to come by. Not happy to pay $9.99 for 2.53 oz. Yes folks, quantity does matter. Most quality hand creams average less than $10 for 3 oz. I won't pay the current $12.99 price. I will keep looking for another supplier. I went back to buy 3 more tubes, and saw the $12.99 price. I purchased zero. But the quality is great, the amount of Shea butter is good, I just wish they would increase the amount in the tube, or lower the price. I hope the company sees my message. Times are hard for all of us.

It smells just like roses, and has a medium strong smell. It makes my hands so soft, and it absorbs quite nicely within a few minutes. It is very quality stuff, being 20% shea butter with other lovely oils in it as well. It is very effective, my hands aren't red from dryness after just one use. It is the size I expected, purse size. It is easy to put on, and takes very little to cover my hands so in spite of it's size, I think it will last a while. Worth every penny! Update: I bought two more!

I am very picky with my hand lotions and very dry skin. This product works miracles! Feels great and soaks right into the skin. The smell is good, but very strong! Be aware if you are sensitive to scents.

I’ve been using this for a couple weeks now and I’ll honestly buy it again when this eventually runs out. The rose smell is just so pleasant. I don’t feel like I’m smell bombing people with some awful cheap fragrance every time I put it on. My hands have also been soft and moisturized. Unfortunately I have very dry skin and this hand cream isn’t performing it’s best on my eczema prone fingers. It’s keeping them from becoming chipped or dried out but they’re very hard and not soft. This can’t fight eczema despite being a cream. And the grease level is whatever. I’m putting cream on my hands it’s not going to have zero residue. I find that it’s not too greasy but it does get on my phone a slight bit. No big deal. I like this hand cream

This is an excellent product. I have used it for many years. The fragrance is nice without being too much.

Some background information before I begin to explain my opinion on this product. I originally bought this for my grandmother because she has quite dry skin and spends much of her time cooking for me and my children. Some information about me as her granddaughter is I as well have very dry skin and I’ve always thought of many small gifts as a gesture for a thanks to her. Now my opinion on this product. This product from the foot is extremely moisturizing and very “luxurious” with how the company claims it to be. This moisturizer has many oils which is amazing for dry skin to be moisture. As well very much like how the product comes in a very sleek and unmeasured type of container. Usually when very nice products you don’t always get it in the best application but for this product I like a lot of it come in this thin, iron type tube that isn’t as messy as other applicators for regular applicators. I also Ike how much product you get for the price. Although it is a bit pricey for hand cream, it does come in a lot of product; and because of how thick the cream is you don’t need to use a lot even as someone with dry skin, therefore this product will last quite a lengthy time which a total steal for usually expensive products. Now to move onto the less positive parts of this product. Because the product is made of many oils for moisture, I leave your hands feeling very oily and looking oily. Especially if you are a clean freak like me you feel like you can’t use anything until this oil seeps int skin. Although the cream is very thick and nice it leaves an oily residue like cooking oil. Another quality about this product i don’t really like as much is the scent. Now this could be very controversial, but this product claims to have the scent ginger and lime. Now in my own opinion is that this smells like cleaning supplies with a hint of lime. I’m not a huge fan of how cleaning supplies smell so this was a definitely a miss for me. Finally this product does not rub in very easily, it takes. Bit of work and even leaves a bit of a white cast like after you apply sunscreen. So my final conclusion on this product after this long explanation. The positives, how the product come in a sleek container, the amount of product you get for the price, how well this works for dry skin. Now for some of the negatives, the oily residue it leaves after application leaving your hands to feel and look oily, the scent, and the difficulty to rub this product in and even leaving a bit of a white cast. Best hand cream. Cheaper than Loccitaine but same consistency. The scent is lovely. I’ve repurchased often.

...da diese Handcreme echt unvergleichlich ist. Ich habe extrem trockene Hände und habe schon alles ausprobiert. Das erste Mal habe ich diese Creme von meinem Sohn geschenkt bekommen und was soll ich sagen, dieser hat voll ins Schwarze getroffen. Sie hat mir so gut gefallen, dass ich mir wieder eine Tube bestellt habe. Sehr ergiebig - ja, fettig, aber zieht relativ rasch ein. Ich benutze sie vorzugsweise vor dem Schlafen gehen, dann begleitet mich der angenehme und auf keinen Fall künstliche und leichte Rosenduft. Morgens habe ich superzarte Hände. Toll und absolut zu empfehlen.

Lovely. As good and very similar to a very well known French hand cream brand. Cruelty free and British made too. Very nice fragrance.
