love this book
Very well translated, love this book. The translator really cares about how he translates the work to give a clear meaning.

Best available translation of the Shama'il I've seen so far
Best available translation of the Shama'il I've seen so far, but it has many errors that could have been fixed with a properly scholarly edit. I hope the next edition makes the appropriate corrections.

It’s good
It’s good but the story is keep repeating it self like for example the first chapter with the first topic of what the prophet looks like it shows so many repeated daliil from different sahabas on one subject and takes over three pages of each sahabi talking about how his hair looks like and the cloths he wore and how he ( scws) walked meantion in the same way by several sahabi.
