Nice practice karambit.
Solid, durable, and a good size for a training karambit. The dulled point is safe, but can definitely be used offensively in place of a real karambit.

Fantastic little trainer
I bought this blunt training karambit for its intended purpose, and it has performed admirably. Because it is made of stainless steel, it has weight and heft comparable to a live karambit. Because it is blunt, I can safely practice all of my techniques without fear of unintentional knicks and pokes perforating my flesh. This allows me to periodically go full speed on solo drills, thereby examining my progress. It has been an excellent purchase for the price, and I will likely purchase more.

Realistic weight and balance
Great trainer with realistic weight and balance, which is important for such an unconventional knife and the fighting style it entails. Much better than plastic.

Great quality Karambit trainer
I really like this Karambit trainer. Its very good quality. You can add paracord to the handle to provide better grip and also makes it look better. A few things I'd like to mention 1. Since its made out of metal it feels a bit heavier than most regular Karambit. So it might not be comfortable in the beginning and can leave a mark if you hit something. But it will help condition your arm and also help you increase speed when you a real karambit that tends to be lighter. 2. The Karambit ring does not have round edges. It can be a bit uncomfortable on your index finger when you spin the Karambit.

Quality Stainless Steel Trainer
Perfect for training, however, I chose to wrap the handle with paracord for a realistic grip.

Great trainer, however...
Some Martial Arts training and I've been using, making blades for 20-30 years. It's obvious why training or playing with a razor sharp Karambit would be a mistake. So, I grabbed a trainer during my purchase to help with muscle memory and training exercises. I would have bought a matching trainer if offered. However, I bought this one as it matched fairly close to my actual Karambit. It's a fine generic Karambit trainer; however, for whatever reason the finger hole diameters are not often mentioned in the description of trainers or the actual knives. Odd, considering the finger hole or retention ring is a major component to function of a Karambit trainer or otherwise. My actual Karambit has a finger hole of 7/8"/.875" or 22.2mm. The trainer has a hole of 1" or 25.4mm and it makes a significant difference. The feel and how much control you have during manipulation of the blade is tied closely to the ring feature. I wear large work/mechanic gloves. In short, I've been practicing/playing with the trainer for days, sometimes at my wife's expense. I'm lucky she's a good sport and wants to learn as well. After several days, I picked up real thing, put some painters tape on the blade edge to see how it compared to the trainer. It goes without saying practice is everything and a Karambit trainer is no exception. I'm very glad I bought the trainer and I will be using it all the time. Fluid movements, hand and arm positions during exercises felt good with the actual blade. The weight difference 4.5oz actual Karambit and 4.75oz for the trainer. The additional weight of the trainer proved to be beneficial in my mind as manipulation of the blade was noticeably quicker. I would not use a lighter training blade. The smaller finger hole provided better manipulation and control of the blade for my hand. Practice, practice, practice with the trainer. Be prepared and hope you never need the real one. Remember, safety first...always. Back to the trainer.

Awesome
An important aspect of properly wielding a Karambit is to practice. This is a non-sharp, yet metal and weighted trainer and it's phenomenal. Take a look!

Great for beginners
I got this for myself and my daughter to practice with. Great for practicing, without the worry of actually cutting someone. However, they can do some damage, mainly bruising, with enough force. Overall, I highly recommend for practice use.
