Updated Edit- I have changed my first review of 2 stars to 4. The reason for the change is because upon trying different things, I discovered it was the wall plug in that was bad, not the cord itself. When switching it to the new plug in, it still takes a little longer than I'd like to charge fully (about 1.5 to 2 hours depending how dead the battery is), but better than 4 to 6 hours to charge! So, now that I have faster charging, I realize it's not the cords afterall but will have to replace the wall plug occasionally.I was excited to see the price for not one but two cords, one perfect for home and one for work. However, within a week maybe two every time I plug the one I use at home into my phone it cuts in and out. Tells me to use original cord that came with my phone. Obviously I don't have that cord or I wouldn't have bought these. Anyway, once it finally decides it's going to connect and stayed connected, it will say anywhere from 3 to 6 hours to charge. And this is plugging it in with like 50 or 60% battery left.I thought at first maybe it was a bad cord and swapped the one at work out. Same problem. I checked the plug for the USB end, and the wall plug are both fine. The one used at work that plugs directly into the CPU doesnt cut on and off but it does still take an extremely long time to charge. I had purchased these based on price and the reviews, unfortunately I will have to spend more money to get a different cord now.I will say that they are strong and stay plugged in. Love the length. Maybe I just unfortunately got a bad wired batch.

I am sorry to report that one of the chargers no longer holds tight in the phone to charge. I have to check it and adjust multiple times for it to work. If I touch my phone or move it, the connection stops. I keep one in the car and, so far, that one works most of the time.Updated review☺ I first purchased these charger cords in January 2019; they stopped working properly a while ago. Although, I only recently contacted the Seller, they were very helpful. The Seller sent a reply in less than 24 hrs. and within a day or 2 I had two replacement cords. I am very please to report both chargers are working perfectly with my Stylo 3 android phone. Thank you Seller for standing behind your product and your speedy replies. I happily recommend this product and Seller!!

I bought this pack of 2 usb chargers yet both didn't last long enough as I expected. The first one I used started getting loose on the metal part in between the plastic encasing. I'll admit it's because I tend to use my phone when charging so that part may have gotten looser over time. It's now at the point where I have to put my phone in an extremely specific position to charge, but I think that has stopped working as well too. I assumed it could've not been of full quality so I tried the 2nd one. As of now the 2nd one has shown signs of not always charging when connected - likely because it's now "loose" or something on another part. I made sure to handle the phone and usb in a way that wouldn't have made it break like the first one, but even now it's showing signs breaking "internally" somewhere. Externally, both cables still look like when I bought them, but the original cable that came with my samsung s7 lasted years while these lasted like a month or so. The only good things about these cables were that they were shipped quickly, lengthy, and have a rope weave around the cord for protection all rendered useless by how they break internally on the metal/plastic part. If you are fine with not touching your phone at all while charging and leaving it on a surface until fully charged - then you should be ok with buying these as the problem seems to be when there's a bit of pressure on the section where the usb gets attached when using your phone or whatnot. Consider buying the usb cable from the original brand you have (or buying cables in a physical store) and maybe getting a usb cable protector with it because my s7 usb broke where the plastic part and the cord were attached (unlike the loosening of the metal part inside the outer shell like these cables). For context, I'm using the 2nd cable but I'm scared it'll break and I'll have to buy more even though it's been like 2 mths since ordering.

Bought these so my daughter and I could have a charger in the house and 1 in the car. They bent so you can't charge phones or kindles we haven't had them more than 2 months. I've bought cheaper and more durable at Walmart

The braided cable design is wonderful and seems to hold up so much better. The customer service was great and quickly honored their warranty. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is the metal connector seems a bit weak. Both chargers we initially purchased became bent at the metal connector. Although we are not rough with chargers, I have been extra careful with our replacements while charging, and so far they are still holding up wonderfully.

These are by no means the nicest chargers out there, but they get the job done. I've purchased two two-packs of the 6 ft cords. For the first pack, neither cord lasted for more than about 6 months of regular use before breaking in some way. On one of them, wires started poking out of the part that you plug into your phone. So I would have to bend it in very specific ways to get it to charge my phone. On the other, the metal part you put in the phone got bent when I dropped my phone while the charger was plugged in. For the second pack (bought later after what happened with the first), one also had the wire issue. One is still fine, but I'm honestly just waiting for something to break. When they do work/aren't broken, they charge my phone quickly. I'm sure they'd last a lot long if not used regularly. I would still consider buying when I need an inexpensive cord.
