Wanted to love it
Very disappointed. This sleeping pad was expensive but I thought it would be worth it. I received it the day of my overnight camping trip in my SUV. I inflated it with the schnoozle bag and was very impressed. That bag is amazing! I laid down on the mat and tested to see if I could comfortably sleep on my side. I weigh 240 and I only sleep on my sides. It felt really good.I drove 2 hours to my destination and by the time I arrived, much of the air had left the pad. I assumed I did not seal the inflation valve well and re-inflated the pad, double checking both plugs. Within 1/2 hour of laying on it, I knew there was a leak somewhere. I was super disappointed to have no protection from the hard surface on the back of my rear seats. I had to sleep in my front seat.I had hopes that this was well made and it appeared that it was but this item is clearly defective. Not sure if I will reorder or not.

Put In the Money - Get the Superior Product
Used twice for car camping late summer and early fall. Works great, everything and all aspects.have not hauled it in a backpack yet, maybe this winter. I can pack it in my ruck and it is heavier than my normal mat (another Exped) so am curious if the humping it vs. comfortable sleep ratio works out. The older I get them more comfortable sleep I need though.

best mattress I've owned.
Best travel mattress I've ever owned. Large enough for my big body, insulates really well. Easy to fill up with the cool bag thingy. I like the soft feel of the top. I've owned just about every large mattress made in the last 10 years. This is my final purchase...I use it for motorcycle camping, and it's almost perfect. If it rolled up a bit smaller, it would be 100% perfect.

Great camping mattress
The best camping mattress out there. So easy to carry and set up. Really nice. Had great sleep on the mattress and I have a bad back. Light weight. Perfect

Very luxurious
This is the most comfortable and luxurious feeling mat I’ve found. Feels durable and almost like sleeping on a bed. The downside is that it’s bulky and heavy. It does help with my back and hip problems though.

Def worth the extra weight
Thus thing is awesome. I take it backpacking as a luxury item. It def adds weight for the GRAM counters but it's totally worth it. Amazing nights sleep

High Quality Pad that Didn’t Work for Me
It is hard to assess this pad in general as everyone has different bodies and needs. I have back issues, need a softer pad than most people, and for years have had to use two pads when car camping, one on top of the other. (I gave up on larger air beds for car camping – they leaked too often.) I was hoping I could use this pad by itself, given its thickness. Unfortunately, it is a little too firm and I even when I adjust the amount of air I am not quite comfortable or have a backache. As a result, I am returning it.However, this is a very high quality, excellent pad that most people will love – which is why I gave it a good rating. It is very solid and durable, and you can put more or less air in it to try and meet your needs. If you need to add a little air, you can top it off by mouth. For a pad this thick (4.7”), it is compact enough for car camping. It may work for backpacking although it is a little bigger and heavier than other camping air beds. (When in stuff sack: 2.5lb.; 10.6”x6.3”)I find that pads with 20” width are too narrow for my shoulders and arms and the lack of support makes my arms uncomfortable. I am 5’7” and a number of pads with more width tend to also come longer than I need (for example, Thermarest’s NeoAir SV Camper). I like that the Exped MegaMat Lite 12 can be purchased as a “wide, regular.”I like that it comes with an inflate pump bag. Big Agnes makes you buy one separately for it’s Q-Core Delux pad. The large bag works real well but it takes a lot of bags of air to fill the pad, which is my only complaint – I would have taken off ½ star for this if I could have. (I attach the pump bag to the pad, then “lift it up” to fill it with air rather than blow into it.) A little electric pump for this pad would be nice – I don’t see that available from Exped. The pad is also more expensive than most other pads, although it is thicker than most and “you get what you pay for.”Exped is a good company and I have used a SynMat9 for years (in conjunction with another pad). While this pad did not work for me, I highly recommend it to others.

Plush!
1/2 the weight, 1/2 the packed size and twice the thickness of my thermarest. The dry bag pump is a great idea. Watch for pricing, it’s all over the map
