Feels like a very high quality casing and very light with a nice slim profile. Holds a charge without being used pretty well. I think the little extra cost shows in the construction and performance. If I had to criticize this unit at all is that I wish that it could auto recognize lower power items such as a watch or ear pod case and not have to switch it into a lower power mode manually. And Remember that for all power banks (not just this one) the highest charge speed is for direct usb connection, MagSafe will always be slower. So if you need to charge in a hurry use the USB port (this charger includes a short USB-C cable).

I wanted to give this item a five, but I can't. The reason I can't give it a five is because the back of it is very slick glass. The portion that sticks to the actual phone is so slippery that it seems to come unattached very quickly. The only way to remedy this is to put that magnet circle on it or on your phone to hold them together, but that sort of negates the point of it being sleek. At any rate, if you're willing to do that, then this should stick to your phone just fine. But if you're looking for a backup battery that attaches to the back of your phone and stays there without it moving around a lot, this is not the one for you. On a side note, it does charge the phone well and it is thin which are bonus things. It's just very very slippery.

Buying this reminds me why I don’t usually buy portable chargers. Over heats and makes my phone hot. Not worth buying unless you’re trying to keep your hands warm during winter months.

I grabbed this to toss in one of my lighter bags that was missing a power bank, with the intention that it would be enough for a phone top-off while also having capacity to charge a few other items, if needed. This powerbank arrived in retail packaging suitable to prevent damage. My box was pretty beat up, but the product had no physical sign of damage. The build quality is clean and stylish. It's housed in thin metal and glass, so if it's dropped or impacted or comes under too much weight, one can expect physical damage. I don't have any MagSafe devices, but I do find that the feature (not official on this device) is still useful, as I can stick it to a metal surface and it will stay put (with reasonable expectation). I charged it to maximum (4 LED = >75%) and then discharged it completely before charging again. Charge times were acceptable, but I did not measure for speed. From a full-charge state, I charged a dead phone (5000mAh cell) via cable with the MOMAX and reached 89%. Not bad. After a couple of months of occasional usage, I retested and received the same results. I have used wireless charging with phones and other devices, and it works well, but it seems less efficient, which was expected. At the price I grabbed this little guy (about $16), this is a great value, in my opinion. This is my second MOMAX power cell, and I would definitely purchase from them again.

MOMAXのMagSafe対応モバイルバッテリー、5000mAh。 ボディ部分は金属、スマホとの接触面がガラスで非常に高級感があります。 金属の仕上げもかなり丁寧です。 ワイヤレス給電のスペックはAndroidなら15W、iPhoneなら7.5Wです。 Qi2の認証に通っていないのでしょう。 ここが少し残念なポイントですが、正直スマホにつけたまま使う分には7.5Wで困る場面はあまり無いですし、5000mAhという容量や、有線で20W出せることを考えれば、十分なのかなと思います。 また少し注意しなければならないのは、ガラス面がめちゃくちゃ滑るということです。 スマホにケースをつけていれば基本的に問題ありませんが、ケースなしのスマホとの接着では、ガラス面が滑りすぎてイマイチ安定しません。 また、机の上などにガラス面を下にして置いておくと、いつのまにか滑って移動しています。

The Power Bank arrived to me in perfect condition. It came in a slim, nicely branded compact box. Inside the box, there was a carton frame that kept the power bank in one place and prevented it from moving during transport. The power bank was also put in a plastic bag for extra protection. My first impression when I saw it was that it looked very stylish in real life. It was so slim and that makes it easy for carrying it with me. The main selling point of the power bank is that it has wireless charging and when you attach it to your phone via MagSafe it takes very little space and you can use your phone while it is being charged by the power bank. However, for now (for my current phone) I will use the wired charging option, which also works perfectly. By the way, I tested the wireless charging on my older phone and I can confirm that it works as well. The power bank has a nice LED indicator to show you the approximate battery level it has. The USB port of the power bank works properly, no issues with connecting cables to it. I am pretty satisfied with the product. I really like how it looks and I think I should give it a 4.6-star review.
