Actives Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottle with Spout Lid, 32 Ounce, Midnight

WHAT I LOVE: *extra o-rings and other replacement parts are easily obtained through the Takeya website. Over time rings develop imperfections and you can get mold that no amount of scrubbing will remove. It's been an issue with every water bottle I've owned. I bought 5 sets (I think they were $4 each) of rings and have been able to change them whenever needed, which seems to be roughly twice a year. WHAT I LIKE: *screw-off spout is very handy, can be operated one-handed, and is much easier to clean than straws or narrower flip straws *does not leak. I put it in my backpack without fear when I can't carry it. *rubber base helps with stability which is important in taller bottles. *wide mouth makes for easy ice insertion. *stays nice and cold for a long, long time. WHAT I DON'T LIKE: *because I opted for the 32 oz, it's just a smidge too big for my hand and my cup holders. There's always a trade off in proportions to maintain stability. Wirecutter maintains that the perfect size for a water bottle is 22 oz for this reason, but I like mine bigger. WHAT I HATE: *Nothing!

Fantastic bottle. I have been using it a long time and it will keep drinks cold for over two days. It is very durable too.

We now have 5 Takeya water bottles in our home. The hubs and I each have a 32 oz. and the kids have 24 oz. They’re perfection! Will definitely keep these around. They’re great quality, durable, cute colors, keep our water cool, and encourage us to hydrate. Love that they don’t leak or sweat. They’re extremely durable. Important when kids are using them daily. Even though we all have one I’m eyeing a few more colors. *** Update: 6/13/22 *** A year later and all 5 water bottles are still going strong and looking as new as the day we bought them. Excellent quality! Especially considering mine is white and another we have is a light yellow. Still greatly loved in our home. *** 7/26/22 *** Houston, we FINALLY have a small but, big problem! My O-Ring for the spout has been lost. It actually managed to fall out of my cap. I’m not sure if it got stretched out or what, but it is gone and my water bottle leaked all over my backpack, which is how I discovered it missing. The solution, just buy another gasket. The problem… WHERE DO YOU BUY THEM FROM?! They aren’t sold on Amazon and there out of stock on the Takeya website. What is one to do? Is there a dupe out there? Thanks!

So far this seems like an excellent water bottle. Seems very well made and as long as the stainless steel is good quality like it should be, it will last a long time and I prefer it to plastic. If it doesn't last as long as it should, I WILL UPDATE this review.

Nice looking bottle that drinks well and keeps water super cold. Not as durable as I expected as I dropped it from waist height onto a wood floor (without the top on) and the threaded metal lip flattened. Fortunately it’s still mostly watertight. Not the easiest to clean and even after following manufacturer instructions for cleaning gaskets I have had to buy replacements due to buildup.

I love this container!! After I received my order, I washed it and filled it approximately 1/2 of the way with good, solid ice cubes and water, I forgot and left it in my truck for 2 days, the container was not in the direct sun, and the temperature outside was 73 degrees. When I discovered my water bottle it still had about 1/2 of the ice left!! I will definitely be ordering another and will highly recommend to my friends!

I highly recommend this water bottle! It keeps beverages cold for a very, very long time! I can put ice in it on a Monday morning and fill it multiple times and there will still be ice there Tuesday morning! I haven't tried it with hot beverages but I am thrilled with how long it keeps it cold. I also love the spout, it is very convenient and has been watertight since I bought it. My last water bottle tended to leak a LOT, but that's a thing of the past for me now. The 32Oz is starting to get up there in diameter, so it fits in the elastic pouch on my backpack and in my car, but it's a tight fit. The only problem I've had with it is it does like to grow mold in the lid if it's not washed every couple of days (but you should be washing your water bottle frequently so that is not a problem). I highly recommend washing the inside with boiling water and scrubbing the lid with warm soapy water with a bristled brush. That immediately got the mold under control. I also love the fact that it comes with a little rubber holder and a little handle on the top! All in all, I highly recommend this water bottle and will continue to recommend it to those who are looking for a solid, cold, and convenient water bottle!

The best out there. Expensive but well worth it. Water stays cold, ice lasts 20 hrs! Been reliable product since the first one I bought years ago (7 years or more). Will not disappoint!!!
