CLARKS mens Premium Crepe

I have looked for a long time for a pair of gray shoes to replace a pair of Skechers that I finally wore out. I was hesitant about the Clark’s because of the price. When they arrived, and I put them on, price was the last thing I thought about. The color was perfect. The fit was perfect. The comfort was beyond perfection. I wore chukka boots in college many years ago, and I loved the style. I love it now. These shoes have a classic look that is great with jeans and casual pants that I favor for work. I am on my feet all day teaching, and these shoes feel as good as they look. I plan to by more in the future. I don’t mind paying a little more for something that’s going to last and look good for a long time.

I got this pair and the black version the other day. This color is a bit more expensive. I have a limp I walk with and it causes my shoes to wear out pretty quickly. So, I usually don't buy pricey shoes, as it seems pointless. So, when I saw these, normally I wouldn't get them, but they hold memories for me. I'm 40 and when I was a kid, my older brother and ppl wore these. They called them burnout shoes in the 70s, because all the stoner kids wore them, they said. I feel like I remember them when I was a kid in the 80s, but I know that hushpuppy stopped making them around that time. So, when I saw these, I said, those are it! Those are what I've casually been looking for since. Not a loafer, or other slip on, that, so I got it. I wasn't disappointed. Well made, maybe better than I remember. thick, sturdy material, thick sole. A simple shoe, but very comfortable. I think I'm going to try my best to preserve this shoe and keep an eye on my walk the best I can. Definitely recommend.

I do leatherwork for a living and I'm downright fussy. I'm also keen on how much the proper footwear affects how you feel and can influence back and skeletal issues. I wore the low cut Wallabees many decades ago and had fond memories of them but when I read many of the reviews here on the Stinson I was hesitant to purchase. There were lots of comments like "they don't make them like they used to". Well, I ordered in spite of the negative reviews and am very pleased that I did. I've been wearing them daily for two weeks now and actually look forward to putting them on in the morning. My particular pair were manufactured in India. The leather is of good quality and the workmanship is excellent. I measure for a size 12 in a Brannock Device and that's what I ordered. Perfect fit. As a bonus they serve great as boat shoes with a nice secure non-slip grip and non-marring soles. I'm on my boat almost daily and finding good boat shoes isn't easy. Now I have dual purpose shoes that I love : )

I always wanted another pair of Clarks Wallabees and hadn't heard of the Stinson before, but at $60.00 cheaper I decided to give the Stinson a go. I didn't realise that the Stinson didn't have the crepe soul like the original Wallabee, but they're still pretty comfortable. They are well made, they fit well and feel good and comfortable even after wearing for a few hours, especially now I've done a bit of walking in them and now they've broken in and softened up a bit. The crepe sole of the Wallabee is a bit more comfortable I think, but for a cheap good looking shoe the Stinson is a pretty good value. I put beeswax leather conditioner on mine and they came up pretty nice. My foot length is 28.5cm and I found the mens 11.5 US size to be a perfect fit.

I've had them for about 2 weeks now I use them primarily to work in I was looking for something comfortable but rugged I work in a plant running a press they are the right color brown to disguise all the black greasy stuff on the floor. They're getting scratched up real good the leather is holding up I can't wait until they get a little older because the patina on them is going to look roughneck roughneck is good very good I wear a full beard, so that makes it hard to resist a good-looking hard working, tall black man. So that being said I'll get them a thumbs up. Oh yeah and one more thing they will make a nice dress shoe something nice to go out on the weekend. And for the price they are one can afford to buy a pair every year to keep them looking fresh and new.

Great quality boot. Love the look and feel, aside from the sizing issue. I bought US size 11 or 11.5 in Beeswax because those are the normal sized I fit in all of my shoes. I received these boots and tried on the 11.5 first and immediately knew they were going to be far larger than expected. I had little hope for the 11s as well. I put on and tired the 11s as I normally would and took a walk around the house. They were big enough to put my thumb behind my heel. I could manage with the 11, but I opted to order a 10.5. Waiting for those to come in so I can enjoy them. Also, the creases at the forefront form with the very first step.

i read many reviews comparing this shoe with the original ones. Since these are my first, I would like to say that these are by far the best fitting, most comfortable and easiest to put on shoes that I have ever owned in my 77 years. I have severe arthritis in my lower back+was amazed at how wide these shoes would open up making them so easy to put on. A big plus for bad backs. I highly recommend these shoes to everyone. I absolutely love my Wallabee boots. I will regularly spend an entire day in them without so much as a tinge of pain in my feet. These boots have a timeless look to them that keeps them in style constantly. They look amazing with jeans but also can be worn with many business casual type pants. I've worn these with jeans and tee shirt or with dress pants and a sport coat. They look great, they feel amazing, and they continue to last. What more can I ask for? By far, the favorite pair of boots I've ever owned! They do run a little small, so as long as you order a half size up then you should be fine.

These are an updated design from the ones I'm used to. The leather is lined inside and the sole is not crepe but instead a rubber compound - hopefully it'll wear better then the crepe soles used to.

Pros: True 8.5us size + best color to match with this sole. It look a like beige more than the pictures color. Comfortable 1 inch sole and thick leather. Cons: none

I had ordered a U.S. size 13 Clark's ankle boot. The product arrived before the date promised and fit perfectly, and was the coluor as advertised.

Classic shoe. Good good, at least in my eyes.
